With you 100% Rufflad. I gather it's not a sell-out tomorrow, which if true, is a ****ing disgrace. Us v you and the return of Suarez. I bet the viewing figures will be massive
With you on that losing away at Anfield to an early goal where we dominated is one thing, losing at home is another, when playing them again only a few weeks later. The loss to City just adds to the pressure, a win tomorrow means more to us than Pool even if it is only the C1cup.
This season has probably been the first time I've seen Utd fans being humble. Which is good because if we play like we did against Southampton, then the taunting will less annoying
The main issue is the lack of drive and intent in all of our losses. Maybe quality was missing as well, but its the same team of champions so that cannot be an excuse. DM has nothing to lose and we are ready to be patient and give him reasonable time but he has to show some initiative, show us what he's gonna bring to this football club, that he's not just a poor man's Fergie. For eg. Di Canio would happily relegate someone like Young to reserves and bring in Januzej if he felt so.
I think we will play a full strength side so something like -------Mingolet Wisdom Toure Sakho Enricky --Hendo Lucas Gerrard -Suarez Studge Sterling Who do you lot think you will start with?
No idea! I would like to think something along the lines of; De gea Smalling Vidic Evans Evra Fellaini Carrick Cleverly Nani Kagawa Rooney 4 3 3 / 5 5 1 Maybe Hernandez instead of Rooney and fat Boy fat instead of Cleverley. At some point Hernanadez could do with a game for definite.
Perhaps with Kagawa instead of Cleverley and Zaha / Januzaj / Valencia as the other wide attacker. Would definitely like to see Moyes at least try Fellaini, Carrick and Kagawa together as a midfield three, as I think those three give us the best chance of avoiding being overrun in future big games. Of course if we play the 5-5-1 you suggest we could just stick Zaha in as an extra player. We (probably) definitely wouldn't be overrun in the centre of the park then!
Really looking forward to this game (which almost certainly means it'll be a turgid load of ****) Massive game for Moyes given the opposition & the fact that he must be able to show that his side have the ability to bounce back after Sunday's embarrassment. The team selections will be interesting, as I reckon Liverpool will go more or less full strength, which may force Moyes to field a stronger side than he'd have ideally wanted to. It's a game he simply can't lose imo, as the media will be all over him if United get turned over by Liverpool at OT.......
