I reckon that'd be best as a 433, even if it does mean playing Boyd CM.

Bruce confirms it's a 4-4-2. Looks a strong enough side to beat Huddersfield, who themselves make 10 changes

Doesn't look a strong side to me. Players playing out of position for the sake of getting game time.

God knows how Proschwitz, Sagbo, Fryatt and Boyd will all fit in.

Good to see that Conor Henderson is on the bench.

He must've signed with us in the last few days then.

Looks a good side in my opinion.

Maybe it doesn't look strong, but remember two things. One - We are now a Premier League club, so with players like Thudd we are now used to much higher quality (on paper of course), and Two - This is the Capital One Cup, where EVERY team makes many changes.

    EH?

Looks fine to me. Sagbo right, Boyd left, Bomber and Matty up front with Meyler and Quinny holding.

The only one slightly out of position is Sagbo but he is two footed anyway so everything's kool.

Yeah very attacking team, but its no way a natural 4-4-2 with the players involved, 4-3-3 maybe.. oh well, bruce knows what he's doing.

Im surprised with Rosenior & Faye playing... Wonder what our back 4 will be on Saturday..?

You do realise a lot of footballers can play on Tuesdays and then the following Saturday?

Playing today will not destroy them for Wet Spam unless they get injured. So expect Faye to still play against Wet Spam, as long as he doesn't have a shocker tonight.

We're at home as well,so traveling doesn't even come into effect.

    Who was the alternative?

Faye and Bruce both look good today.

AB reminds me of Adam Bolder, that little RB that was almost good at one stage.

Bruce is an excellent defender really. He gets far too much stick on here. His passing lets him down but in terms of keeping the opposition out he's great. His tackling and blocks are second only to Chester.

This. He is a great defender, but his problem is that blocking and tackling is all he can do.

Was Adam Bolder not a midfielder. Do you mean Adam Lowthorpe? Aka Dennis Irwin's twin brother.

Faye was on the whole good - but he made a mistake on the ball in the first half, and if he did it on Saturday, it would have led to a goal.

Bruce is perfectly capable. His tackling tonight showed why he is a good option to have on the bench in the PL.

Not one single pass went ahead of the player, which invites more pressure, means just as much as tackling does the way we play. Every ball was behind a player who had to come back for it. He was pretty average again tonight, he's slow on the ball, he makes good tackles after he makes the mistake. If Bruce plays in the Premier League and Hobbs is in the Championship something has gone drastically wrong with football.

I've also heard Great and Bruce in the same sentence, jesus. Great is so overused i wouldn't even call Davies and Chester great not even close.
