Available Strikers?

I think a world famous Aussie spin bowler, famous even to us who haven't seen cricket for decades will be an asset at QPR, and help keep our other world famous personality, Emporer and also unused Keeper, company fetching the afternoon teas.

 

Dexter Blackstock, would do the biz.

 

Long is a younger fitter Johnson so would be perfect for us! Doesn't give defenders a minutes rest, just what we need! Add a goal poacher and CB, we'll be up by Xmas.... ;-)

Defoe is starting for Spurs tonight.....whilst Spurs are in the cups...all 3 of them....no chance. So lets revisit the Defoe issue again in June!

Can anyone cast any light on the situation with overseas loanees? Seems like there isn't much availability in the Premiership/Championship so maybe we need to be looking further afield - like the Icelandic lad on the other thread.

Would love us to sign Long but thats never going to happen imo.

However, Becchio could be a great option - Norwich have loads of strikers at the moment and he hasnt got much chance of playing. But would he want to drop back down again?

 

We were signing Long on deadline day, until WBA pulled the plug because Lukaku went to Everton instead of them.

 

Could you imagine Col having to cheer on a Norwich player?
