Absolute disgrace from Newcastle. Once again Ashley shows that he is nothing but a money greedy ****. It won't effect me much because I go to all the home games, some away games and the ones I don't go to I find a online stream for. However I know plenty of people who do listen to the matches on the radio. Now this just leaves Radio Newcastle and the commentators on there are so miserable it's unbelievable. Also it means no more Justin Lockwood or Bobby Moncur! Well done Ashley, thinking of fans again! You ****ing tosser.

The difference between 30,000 and 60,000 is peanuts in football club terms. I don't really use the radio much either but when I have to it was always with real radio.

From £30,000pa to £60,000pa into the Newcastle profit account.

Seems like a good move to me. Stop crying.

All it means is we pick Radio Newcastle on matchdays instead of RealRadio.

Not really an extra £30,000 profit is nowt for a football club. He should of left it how it was so we could listen to Justin Lockwood who is a legend instead of the miserable commentators on radio Newcastle.

Can't say I'm bothered, radio coverage has flipped between the two for years and I've always gone for Radio Newcastle by default. Might be a bit of a chew when Newcastle and Sunderland play at the same time but more and more people are moving from radio to streaming anyway. At least I won't have to hear that miserable Gordon fella ring both talk-ins post match anymore...

Radio Newcastle is better anyway. Not only in terms of local football coverage but of sport in general.

I'm not able to get either anyway so doesn't bother me, plus I just stream the matches anyway.

Real Radio are right to sever the contract terms with NUFC as £60k for championship football after next season is far to much. Looks like Fat Ashley is trying to get as much money as he can out of the club and fans. Just goes to show what a stupid deluded bunch you are for lining his pockets each and every game. Its so funny watching your club implode. I hope you's get relegated and do a Wimbledon.

The echo is not a reliable paper, it only puts reports on Newcastle when they lose, says it all really when it comes to Newcastle I believe nowt in the silly little annoying paper. Its as bad as the Sun.

Not a big Real Radio fan, I think Beeb's coverage is better but its nice to have a choice and Lockwood going mental is always a treat. Fat Mike is a ****.
