Korea skipper Park Chu-Young has denied speculation linking him with a big money move to Premier League club Tottenham.

English reports this week suggested Park, who wants to leave relegated French club Monaco, was set for a €5.9m switch to Spurs.

However, the 25-year-old, who is currently in Korea with the national team preparing to face Ghana on Tuesday, told Sports Chosun he knew nothing of the deal.

"I don't know any story coming out from England,” said Park.

“What my agent says is the only credible things. But I've not heard any negotiation ongoing from him."

Park, who scored 12 goals in Ligue 1 for Monaco during the 2010-11 season, had last week indicated he was looking to move onto a big club, potentially in England.

“I’d like to have a new challenge on a stronger team capable of competing in bigger European-wide tournaments like the Champions League,” said Park.

Mercato 365 had last week also reported French club Rennes, who qualified for the 2011-12 Europa League, were interested in the Korean.

Not heard anything about this really. Though, he was really good on PES10, played him on my left wing in a 4-3-3 if that helps?

I linked us with him over a year ago, by the use of a highly complicated journalistic system.

It's called the Who-Can-Sell-The-Most-Shirts system and, while I'd love to explain it to you all, it's far, far to complex.
    Sorry.

He's always been a great player on PES - but if PES was a barometer of quality, Jeremy Mathieu would have been playing for Barca since at least PES6 and an ever-present in the France team.

Mathieu: What a player! Bought him every PES! Quality at LB, LM and LW! Bags of assists and goals. Loved all school PES, no matter what position you put the players in the stats don't change!

We should buy him, hes only 26? 4-5 years of development, and that hexagon will touch all the sides!!!

Another reason not to trust PES is some of the best prospects don't exist - Schwartz springing to mind for that one.

Well Konami is Japanese ;) Shaw was always decent, tiny lil winger with a rocket of a left foot. Remember scoring countless goals from 40+ yards.
