....and it's OUR fault they play good football!! http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/H...rce=dlvr.it&utm_medium=facebook#axzz2fOCJ0Sx7
Holloway's had a week to prepare his boys for sunday , so I don't expect anything other than a hard game , they will be quick to close us down and they can create them selves , as previously posted there's no doubt about the quality of our squad but it'll be getting the mental attitude right before the kick off which will have a bearing on what the outcome will be
I can't see us losing tomorrow. I know palace are a good side and will get in our faces, and I'd normally be worried about that while being on such a high, but what I've seen in the last week is a totally different animal than I've ever seen from Swansea. I thought we fielded pretty much our strongest side against Liverpool, made them look very ordinary and should have gone on to win. We then made 5 changes and went on to batter one of the biggest clubs in europe on their own patch! I think the fact that Palace will be targeting us as a team they should beat will work in our favour with our counter attack, and if they do get in our faces and get physical, good luck to them getting in Bony's face
As tempting as it is to say that I am, i'm not Kev Johns Along with Curtis and Jenkins he is someone that has been involved with the club for years and has SCFC running through his blood, and is one member of SCFC I have the utmost respect for.
totally agree sa9 if they feel they have to win these games then.they need to attack so we can catch them out.with our pace and shelvey range of passing. he
Mark Lawrenson going for a Palace win: "These are the games that Crystal Palace have to win if they are going to stay up. "Palace will be ready for Swansea - I can imagine their manager Ian Holloway saying to his players 'look, this lot will be dead on their feet here - let's have a real go'." Holloway quoted as saying CP will 'park the bus and catch us on the counter'. Hope that is true because if that's the case think we will be too strong for them. But think it may be 'spin' from Holloway and they will come at us from the start. Three points will see us climb the table and Palace should be a team we beat home or away - but think it will be a very hard match. Hope Bony is on form (and doesn't do a Danny Graham!!! Did you see his misses? Grass aint always greener Danny! ) After the high of Valencia, think this one will be far tougher! If we play the way we can then it will be a comfortable victory, but if we are complacent then it could be a very long 90 minutes! BTW, anyone seen Dai yet? Was worried about him before but feel that Brenda having a bad day at the office may have tipped him over the edge!
You mean Brenda having no plan B and getting totally out thought...again !! Dai has made a total arsehole out of himself these last few days so I suspect he will be keeping a low profile until something bad happens with the swans
Dai will do his usual. He cannot wum here so will dissapear onto other teams boards and wind them up instead. He will then turn up like that bird from Dallas with amnesia. Many will forgive and forget, others will be chastised for stifling his freedom of speech and so the never ending cycle of not606 Limbo for us all will continue....
"and he knows more about football than Lawrenson". So does my hamster, and he's been dead for over 20 years!!!
swim, you appear to be obsessed with Dai. When he's posting, you go after him,yet when he is absent, you still go after him. Could it be that you are actually a part of "the never ending cycle of not606 Limbo" that you refer to in post No.31? The "all" that you refer to are in actual fact not "all",merely a certain number. Please don't speak for me,since Dai doesn't cause me any grief. I take it your "others will be chastised for stifling his freedom of speech" is a sideways swipe at me,since I have consistently defended his right to express himself, insults and abuse excepted,as I would defend you or others, should the occasion arise. I'm not looking for a fight,by the way, merely expressing my opinion.
TBF to Lawro he had a pretty good overall record last year. He's even 37-32 ahead this year even after Bolt beat him. Compare that with financial experts who routinely get beaten by amateurs. A couple lost to a cat, I believe, in a challenge in the Observer last year.
