Fair point up until then, we've already beaten Utd without him. Suarez has to start and commitment, desire to play and most importantly goals are expected and expected more from him than any player in our history. He's dragged us through problem after problem, time for him to repay our faith.

I have been a liverpool supporter as my second team longer than a lot on here but i don't put up with excuses or thinking your team or my first team are better than they are. Liverpool have scraped through the first few games and got the rub of the green, football wise you did not impress in any of the games to suggest that you will be a force this season and for me to say that as a big rodgers fan is disappointing....I thought last season was great and progress was made but i cringe when i hear supporters say they will win the league or a top 4 as your football don't show it....I'm hoping suarez will make all the difference as he is world class but im disappointed that brendan did not use the transfer market better because if liverpool don't finish in the top 5 this season then suarez and others will leave .... The first few games have installed in some the crazy idea that you are playing well.....I saw better football last season to be honest so i hope rodgers sorts it out...

well im not sure you will finish above us this season to be honest. I think we have a better team than last season that can overtake liverpool. i don't think liverpool are a better than last season and i think you will finish below us and everton this season......all we can do is wait and see....

For the record I think Swansea have a good team, but let's be honest this is a knee-jerk reaction to us losing. Yes we've dropped a few points, that was likely to happen considering the players we're missing.. From January onwards we've come far as a team, yesterday was our first loss in 15 odd games, and our first without Suarez (7 wins, 2 draws). We experience this a lot, last season "Oh without Suarez you'd be in a relegation battle", now the same with Sturridge, and I'm sure it'll be the same about Coutinho. With all due respect, you've beaten West Brom and Palace (I know you've had a tough set of fixtures, and you've beat the teams you should have). But what are your predictions based on? We got 63 points last season, do you not see us improving on that? Over the course of the season do you think you're going to be more consistent than us? Do you honestly not think with players returning and the new comers settling in that we'll only improve as the season goes on? We've been for many years a team that grows as the season goes on (Dalglish's second season being the only exception), we haven't been at the races so far this season but we still have 10 points, and have beaten the league champions. We have to listen to a lot of rival fans coming on here and telling us not to get carried away, but when we drop points they're the ones who are quick to react and tell us how bad we are.
Bunch of hypocrites, apart from FDD. Suarez should never play for us again. He rubbished the club and is therefore a disgrace. It's not like him coming back is going to make us win the league all of a sudden either. Maybe, if he has the same form as last season, his contribution will nick us one place higher in the table, but who's to say he will.
I just care about the team and having Suarez back in it when one of our most creative players is out is most definitely welcome.
