Not sure why he'd want the job, Di Canio replaced all the guile and skill they had at the club with physicality and stamina. It's a very difficult job there right now and he'd be better off waiting for someone else to get sacked, litterally anyone else as Sunderland is probably the toughest job in the league at the moment.
On reflection you may well be right YV! Sunderland certainly need someone who has a feel for the football culture in the North East, and thats probably not Robbie! If Robbie does end up in England I see him somewhere like Brighton, Watford, Reading or at least home counties!
