And I will chant for Paolo. Disgrace not to be given a chance at all. Who would want to manage our joke of a club? You've got 5 games, good luck! I am truly appalled. Things have gone backwards since short Dismissed Niall. Questions to be asked of Me Short now. You cannot run a football team this way. Sick as ****. We all know the next appointment will be ****ing ****.
I would hate to think, the fans were not happy to be trotted out as an excuse. The VAST majority of Sunderland fans would have given Di Canio more time.
Yeah most fans would have but if the rumours are to be believed the players wanted him gone. We all know where the power is in Football.
That not what you said. You said that our next manager would be ****e? I'd like to know how you know that? Dont forget that under Quinny we appointed Keane, Sbragia, Bruce and MoN. PDC was all Shorts so between them the club have just trundled along without actually achieving anything of note for 6 years apart from staying up, which for us is a minor miracle anyway. Quinnys 'rose tinted' regime didn't produce anything at all of note and neither has Shorts now on his own mate and as for the next manager, well, lets wait at least until we know who it is before we call him ****e eh?
I applaud the decision.....it shows that the man in charge has big balls. I'm am happy that we won't have to go through a PDC out campaign( and we could all see that coming), before making the move. He got it wrong with PDC and this decision admits that, lets hope he gets it right with his next appointment.
Veeeeeeeery good sources I cannot disclose (it's a Scottish thing) is that SAF isn't happy in retirement, and is looking for a challenge. Rumors are SAFC is that challenge...
I've been a Sunderland fan long enough to k ow the next manager will be ****e, especially if he has a 12 game turn around. The only manager to genuinely excite me was MON since I've followed Sunderland. Who would want to come to this duck shoot, bearing in mind they would be the duck?
I personally think it's the right decision. He lost the dressing room from what I saw on Saturday. It's all very well criticising but do it on the training ground andnot in a post match conference. Just my opinion like
Disagree Marcus, it was a great insight for us fans to see how lazy and feckless our players are. They players we struggle to get the money together to go and watch. They don't want someone grassing them for not making an effort. They hate the idea that someone could critique them in a bad way. This in't a match report they could sweep under the carpet but an insight as to why the match report is ****e. If the players have done for Di Canio then my time as a supporter is nearing the end. What type of manager can pick them up? A yes man who lets them take the piss and keeps quiet??? Sad day for our club. To get rid of a man who only had 12 games in charge. 7 of those with another mans players.
Think I've changed my mind about going now, not just that I got the wrong day but that I would boo every player on the pitch if indeed a player revolt has led to this. ****ing boooooooooo!!!!!!
