I did say it, I liked what he done at Swindle. Said at the time he reminds me of a young Brian Clough. I won't be calling for SoD's head as Shiny said 100% behind him.

I would like to think we are all behind Sean, (this doesn't mean i love Red Robin nor after a cheap deal on one of his dodgy motors), maybe when palarse sack hollowhead Paolo Di Canio will turn up there?

The polls at the time indicated a lot of fans did want Di Canio as people were impressed with what he did at Swindon with his passionate form of management. Don't think SOD was even in the top 3 as others wanted Billy Davies.

For me SOD was my choice before we got McInnes as he did well at Doncaster but I was unimpressed with the way he managed Forest so he wasn't for me but he was the one the board picked, being a free agent probably swung it as SL wanted Karl Robinson which we would of had to pay compensation for. We all had to give him a chance but like in any job if you are not getting results people will start watching you carefully like in any job.

Attendance has gone from 13,862 down to 10,143 and it has been getting lower each game which wont go unnoticed by the club.

We have the manager, the players who are the second highest paid squad in this division need to get their act together.

Once it happens we will fly up the table.

Players need to take responcibilty, big improvement yesterday, lets hope they can take that in the next home game.

It didn't take some of the fans on here long to start calling for SOD to sod off, did it?

PDC is still a largely unproven manager for me, and even though he did wonders for Swindon I think that his failure at Sunderland will definitely affect his approach in his next job in football.

Personally, I'd like to see PDC as an assistant to someone for a bit. He's very set in his ways, so it'd be good to see him deputise someone with a different view on management. If he did end up getting the Bristol City job I can't see some of the locals being too happy with a "fascist" at the club. I couldn't give a **** about his personal views, but given the liberal undercurrent of the city I can guarantee that it'll get the trustifarians in Stokes Croft worked up.

I like some of what PDC says and he wears his heart on his sleeve

I cant see him agreeing to be an Assistant Manager anywhere, unless it's a huge club.

He can be a bit of a loose cannon, but he is a character, in the modern game where there are very few entertainers these days.

We have a plan - no way would PDC be able to stick to that plan - I'm not sure about the bloke at all.

I think Sunderland have done the right thing - maybe get Poyet in?

So Sunderland did the right thing by sacking a bloke after 5 games? But the people on this board displeased with SOD are in the wrong? Thats a new one on me... His team is radically more new than ours, why wasn't he afforded time like SOD is being given?

We have the best man for the job

Show some backbone, BCFC fans !
Sacking the manager DOESNT equal automatic football success (but it could send us down into Netherworld)
