Apologies to some for the following post Vettel celebrating his, 3rd win in a row 3rd win in Singapore 3rd win in Asia 7th win of the season 33rd career win
Both Mercedes drivers seemed miffed at their teams. I think Hamilton was hiding it but it was still there. Rosberg made no attempt to hide his misgivings please log in to view this image
Fernando Alonso and Mark Webber have been called to the stewards over the incident on the slow down lap when Alonso gave Webber a lift. Doubt it will be anything other than a ticking off.
Was just scrolling back and I'm glad someone else noticed how woeful Croft and Brundle were today especially their constant moaning throughout the safety car period, perhaps it's not as difficult as Sky think to work out why the viewing figures are so low...
Lol Vettel calling out a group of Ferrari fans following him over the world just to boo him. Must be hard spending all that money to see Ferrari fail against the greatest team since the last dominance era they wish was back!
What a ridiculous decision by the stewards. I understand why the rule is there but seriously, giving Webber a lift is not an attempt to abuse the rules. Stewards are making a fool of themselves.
I assumed something had to have gone very wrong when I saw Chilton had finished 2nd in the "battle at the back" Does anyone know if anything happened to Bottas or Vergne? Both were nowhere today.
That was a joke though, the car was cleared in a couple of minutes and the safety car was out for six laps. They need to get rid of that stupid rule where lapped cars can unlap themselves, if they're out of sequence under the safety car they should drop back not drive round the entire lap to catch up. Terrible day all round for the stewards, Webber's penalty is a disgrace, especially when you look at what people get away with. Forcing Hulk to give Perez a place was ridiculous as well, Hulk was on the track until Perez ran into him.
To be honest I'm getting sick of them talking now, they don't say anything constructive but instead dither about what (their) experience at a certain point in time with somebody or another F1 or not. Brundle needs a kick up the backside because he isn't doing his job properly by giving us information of the now rather than the autobiography of Brundle and Co. which i couldn't care less about.
The problem is you can't have them just drop back or they're completing a lap less than everyone else, and you can't have them just remain stationary where they are or they just get in people's way at the restart. It just needs speeding up. The point was I don't think the race was any more enjoyable for Brundle moaning for three laps straight that it was a stupid rule.
They'd be completing a lap less than everyone else any way because they've been lapped. If anything they're being credited with a lap they haven't completed because they've done one more than everyone else under the safety car.
They should just leave the back markers where they are in my mind. Clearing slower cars is part of F1 and unless you're clearing a STR no one team will gain or loose on average.
