I'm expecting a more open game on Sunday, Stoke fans think that because their team has now learned how to pass the ball under Mark Hughes methods, it makes them into a passing side. It may also encourage them to be more attacking. We shall see.

This is an interesting link. It's a table showing the team averaging the most fouls per game over the course of the season. No surprises for guessing who tops the list.

I think you guys will win comfortably. So far we've done a decent job of keeping the ball down and actually playing some football, but I think we will be very vulnerable against counter attacks, especially with Ozil's quality, and the form Ramsey is in, he'll definatly have a point to prove against us. (Assuming he doesn't get sent off for cannibalism.)

There is no way Stoke will come to the Emirates with an 'open' game plan - it just wont happen. A war of attrition beckons -our form is good but this will be a tough game.

I'm still at work, home in 2 hours, have a beer and a kip, get sky sports on, and then back to bed again when it's all over!

 

I see a battering coming Stokes way. I think Hughes will try and play ball with us which will play into our hands, unless he decides to park the bus, then we'll just win by a goal or two. We are probably the most inform team in the league at the moment and barring any disasterous defensive mistakes from us, we should cruise to a wide victory.

 

I know what you mean... I always get nervous when people make these kind of statements though.

Wow reading through this thread you boys are in for a big shock today. Pulis has gone and Hughes is playing a totally different game of football now. We outplayed Man City off the pitch last weekend and they were lucky to go away with a point.
Under Pulis last season I would not be anticipating picking anyhting up from this game today. But under hughes I'm confident that today we will come away with a point at the very least and maybe even a win!

I hope Wenger and your players are expecting the same kind of game as you guys because to be honest your going to get shocked by the new Stoke under Hughes!
