DAWN COMMANDER is out again today but I am not as confident over this extended three miles as I would have been earlier in the week.
Fehilly has routed to Uttoxeter and that is significant for me as I am sure he wants to be on the gorgeous DROP OUT JOE. This son of Generous is an Irish p2p winner and needs a trip. Conditions shoukd suit and I am sure he will be stepping up on what he has done so far.
Fehilly is also on THEATRELANDS and despite being top weight he is not harshly treated. At 12s he is worth a punt.
could be a big day for Noel todsy as he also has some good rides for Mulholland.

Nice little Sunday card at Plumpton today and in the 4.00 James Pollard catches the eye at a nice e/w price of 11/1 with Bet Victor this morning. The 8YO has been kept awfully busy by connecitons with 75 runs under his belt to date, the majority on the flat where he is a moderate class 5 handicapper. However, Bernard Llewellyn likes to send him over hurdles from time to time and his last venture in this sphere resulted in victory at Ffos Las in what wasn't the worst claimer in the world (a decent yardstick from Tim Vaughan's yard in second and a horse in 3rd who had previously romped home over fences), and he ran a decent race in a very similar heat on this card last year when a close-up 5th behind Ugo where a mistake at the 3rd last possibly cost him his race. That was off a mark of 117 so he is 1lb lower today and could well outrun his odds. Small e/w bet only as this looks a decent contest.

Well it's cliff horse day......again. Buck Mulligan in the 4.10 at Uttoxeter. He has been dropped a few pounds and he's been set a lot easier assignment today. I do thing his style of running will suit Uttoxeter too and he's being backed so maybe today will be his day. A win bet @6s.
Also done some very small stakes ew doubles, trebles and acca on Di Kaprio 3.10 Buck Mulligan 4.10 at Uttoxeter and Wait No More 3.30, Hawkhill 4.00, Dawn Commander 4.30 and Flashy Star 5.30 at Plumpton.
    Good luck all

You've got to admire the persistance of trainer John Cornwall. The last 5 years have yielded just 18 wins from 299 runners and yet he continues to send out runners, usually with son Joseph in the plate. Today they have 2 runners at Uttoxeter - That's The Deal in the 4.10 (best price 25/1) and Radsoc De Sivola in the 5.10 (best price 50/1). Somehow I always wish them well, and hope to see their horses run well, but with a strike rate of 6% they don't often get in the winners enclosure. All the best for them today <ok>

odddog-- is it some kind of hobby with these type of outfits--surely is not any way business-- but you kind of wish them well--unless they spoil one of your accas' !

One horse catches me today --Drumlang in the last at utt-- wins after a good break-- chasing today, could well hose up like that one the other week--who runs earlier on the card--but this horse is best caught fresh-- a guy i knew ( groundworker) put 1k on at 3/1 when it was 'expected'--fell at the 2nd !-- hope he kept the faith ---next time out won by any amount at 7/1-- obviously what should have happened first time--...thats racing....

a rare visit from me on here, but just had to pop on to congratulate CHANINBAR on his brilliant forwarding of young murphys mounts yesterday---truely brilliant, and i hope you had a great well deserved pay day.
i am still ticking along with a few winners here and there but must admit to getting slaughtered yesterday.
thus----its the LORDS PRAYER day for me today-----two winners up hamilton academicals---LORD FRANKLIN and LORD BUFFHEAD.
pipey only has the one at plumpton--PURPLE N GOLD-----bit like the colour of my nuts after banging "fifi la motte" around the back of the club last neet.
the wifey is away on a boozers trip to catterick today,i was going to do a bit of digging practice today ,but after competing the great north run last sunday in 4 days 5 hours 23 minutes---i think i am plenty fit enough.----so ive decided to give our ****house/bathroom a make over to surprise the wifey on her return----nearly finished, only need some nice bits and bobs to finish the job now
have a great day all opuz9c.jpg

    14:40 Uttoxeter - Naledi e/w

(Feel very 'umble after Chan's efforts yesterday, so will have an insolent e/w on this one at the 16/1 generally on offer at present. Poor win record but has a squeak to reach the frame in this event).

GL all today - off to sample a bit of the hair of the dog that bit me yesterday. Sucker for punishment).

Well done Stick. I've backed DC at 6/1 with Will Hill last night and took 9/1 about DOJ. If the second one wins I owe you more than a few beers. The double pays a lot.
