Getting back into Europe would be the ultimate - not necessarily because of the games themselves, more that it would be an indication of our further progression having now achieved the Premier League. Swansea have just done it through a cup competition much as we did in the old ECWC setup, so whatever way would be OK by me. Final table position would be very nice though. I was just 11 when I was taken to the SV Hamburg game and a couple of years older for Real Madrid. Funnilly enough, I can remember far more about that Hamburg game than the Madrid one when I was older - maybe it was the sheer emotional let down that fixed it for me rather than the later win. Last Euro game at Nin Park for me was the Standard Liege game sometime in the early 90's. I can remember we got stuffed 1-3 in that one with an aggregate drubbing - I think they stuck 5 on us out there. Roll on - hopefully I can post a similar thread on the Premier League Board again this time next season - that would be enough for now.
