. ...Luis Suarez is back! (and before you ask, yes he's still a ****!)
Its worth pointing out that this is our only loss whilst Luis has been missing too. We'd have taken that when he bit Ivanovic
Suarez back, Sakho more experienced, and all of our injured players one more week closer to returning.
Unfortunately though, Suarez will probably have to start now since Coutinho is injured and we need some creativity. I'd have liked him to be on the bench to start, make him earn that spot back.
He already earnt his spot by scoring 30 goals last season. No one else has done enough to keep that spot.
Our next league games is Sunderland. I'd put Suarez straight in to start just off Sturridge. Should he start v United? Rest Sturridge?
Definitely start vs Man Utd, he needs match time. I originally said Luis should not go straight back in but considering injuries and the form of some players, I don't think we have much choice.
With all heartfelt respect; Bollox, utter bollox. He was paid handsomely for doing exactly that: it's his bloody job description. It's not he's paid to turn up & then it's a favour from him if he scores!!!! If he hadn't scored goals we wouldn't give a **** if he stamped his feet & wanted to leave, we'd say "who"?.... He lucks out that we have injured players, and it's the tin cup otherwise in the last TEN GAMES, He's earned nothing....absolutely nothing. Worse while being nothing but a drain on the club financially by doing said nothing he made the club run around like blue arsed flies. Let's not have rose tint revisionism because we lost one game.... He's a bastard. When he plays he better bloody score, it's his job.
If we'd won today I'd say Suarez starting next week. Personally I think Suarez should go straight in the first 11 and get to work reproving himself to us and the world and making up for all the trouble he has caused and doing this by playing great football, scoring goals and helping us reach our targets for the season. By getting a ten match ban he took away some thing big from our team and damaged the reputation of the club. He also caused disruption during preseason. Now his ban is over he can put that back and make us stronger, so let him. He cannot fix what he has done from the bench. He cannot help us in any way from the bench. He can help us by playing great football, improving our creativity, getting assists and scoring goals and behaving himself. By leaving him out we will just be punishing our selves. Self harm. If he fails to proove himself then he gets dropped. But that wont happen.
He has to start, although he's a complete twat - he's our best player by a country mile. All this earning his spot back is bollox, you simply have to play your best 11 and he's the first name on the team sheet for me. He's probably the best player in the league, so earn his spot back??? Nah - he plays.
Thats a fair enough counter view: I.e can't repay if he's not playing ... Except I don't think he'll do us any good, despite scoring a lot. He'll (being the psychopath he is) get in **** again & drag us through it. But if he's on the pitch fair enough, I'll not heckle.....as long as he meets the basic requirement of scoring goals because he's nothing else to me than that.....employee. As long as his "automatic" start doesn't hold back the development of the "good" players who want to be here next year when he's (the "exceptional player" having another spaz attack about leaving or has left.....once his next ban is done of course...
If we had Ford fit, I would have given Suarez about 30 mins v United and then a full game against Sunderland. But we don't so there you go. Straight in for me.
The good news is that we were bound to lose our unbeaten tag sooner or later so it's no longer a burden to us!
I don't actually think that Ford has hit the heights so far this season, but due to his form from the end of last season, other teams were petrified of him,so they tried to put men on him creating space for others, ie Studge Suarez even if he doesn't hit the ground running will also do this, but he will be very close to match fitness, he has still played for his Country
Of course suarez should play. he has done his punishment and even if he is not match fit he will still the the best player on the pitch....you may be sharing the lead but if you analyze every game played then you have scraped through with 1-0 wins and against us jacks you were lucky not to lose in the end, So its not really a surprise that the saints beat you today as you have been lacking firepower as you will not keep winning 1-0 and hanging on for 90 minutes...Suarez has definitely been missed just for that cutting edge he gives liverpool and must start against Man utd or they will batter liverpool with their better players....
