Would Cardiff except loans from Swansea .... Serious question , it seems a natural & an unnatural all in the same . Would Cardiff be interested in guys like Beattie , Orlandi , Cotterill , Van Der Gunn . I think a few would be a big plus if things got a bit tight within your budget , especially Beattie . OR Would it never happen ? :bandit:

We may accept them...I think if we loaned everyone except Swansea players that would be unfair!

On a serious note...of course we would if we thought they would do a job for us.

De Vries, Pratley, Rangel, Allen, Sinclair, Graham (LOL), yes. The donkeys you list, no thanks. We may be short of a few palyers at present but desperate we are certainly not.

Cotterill's not a bad player, a Cardiff lad too.

Wouldn't mind cotterill if you were getting rid. Cardiff lad and long life fan. Also he could be Burkey's replacement.

    Nice WUM Dead

Wouldn't want that waste of space as long as he has a hole in his botty bits. What's the word that springs to mind for Cotterill? Oh yes, Judas!!!

Or there is the one about the 2 guys watching Basic Instinct. The one guy says "You know that bit where Sharon Stone crosses her legs?", other guy "Yes, so what?". First guy, "Did you get a glimpse of Cotterill?"

Yes, I know its an old Spurs joke about Sol Campbell but it works for Cotterill as well.

Wasn't being a WUM. He played well for Pompey near end of season and was good at Sheffield Utd. It's not exactly his fault that Swansea bought him and Cardiff didn't.

On playing ability he's good enough for Cardiff, especially now Burke has gone.

Sorry Dead, he wasn't good enough, isn't good enough and never will be. For a supposed winger, he's a bit short of a vital ingredient - pace. Not too high on the skill front either.

He is universally hated at Cardiff, not for playing for other clubs, but for over celebrating goals scored against us by his team, particularly right in front of Cardiff support areas. He should have more common sense than that being, as you say, a Cardiff lad. Earnshaw and Steve Thompson (to name 2 who spring to mind) have scored against us but muted their celebrations and maintained our respect for them. In fact Earnie was actually applauded by us when scoring a superb goal for Norwich against us.

Quite frankly he was a bit of a waste of money for you so I can understand why you want to offload him. Division 1 is about his level.

Nothing wrong with the players I listed , better players came in to knock them off there perch . Until there is transfer action , I would hold onto all options as the Malaysians don't exactly seem to be ready to flash the cash as of yet . Hopefully a new manager is appointed soon & they cough up lots of money then . Maybe wasn't such a good idea putting this article up , wasn't meant to slander just thought there might be some merit to the possibilities

    Breezey

You know full well that those listed hold no attraction to Cardiff. They were nothing more than bit players for the Swans and would be no different with us. None of them held a regular perch at Swansea and we all know what happens to the unfortunate birds sat on the bottom of the cage.

Until we get our new manager speculation is irrelevant particularly when lesser quality players are involved.

Most teams in the Championship would take Cotterill & Beattie , especially cash strapped ones. I only came up with this , bad idea , because I believe the Malaysians are coming forward this season with very little ambition & cash for your team , hope I'm wrong though but very little time will tell . .

Why would most teams in the championship take a striker who doesn't score and a winger who is slow?

One only has to look at the reasons Sayer , they never got to play as our team grew . We had serious depth this season and not loans either , squad players that were owned .

    <ok> this.

To be fair to Thompson, his celebration when scoring for us wasn't that great :)...but I take your point. Kav was another.
IF, whoever takes over, brought in David Cotterill...I'd have to accept it but he will always be a c**t in my eyes and before anyone asks "what if he scored the goal that got you promoted?".....he would be the c**t who scored the goal that got us promoted...just my opinion :)
