They are very Spanish. I'd like to see us play like them but with mainly english players. The only way I'm going to be interested in England games anymore is if we have 2 or 3 tigers playing! Hudds, Livermore, Davies perhaps after they all have a storming season helping us finish 7th. (Dreaming again!)
Laudrup will get a job in Spain, they will get Brian Flynn in to replace him and then slide down the divisions again just like last time.
Money has an anti gravity effect in football.Swansea will soon succumb to this law.Good luck to them during this freaky time but I really hope ground extension plans do not come off for them.We only need look at the Smoggies to see how dire it is post-prem in an over sized stadium. I think the attendance on Saturday at the KC shows our ground is about right for us and not worth the money to go bigger just to fill it with plastics come matches against the big teams.
Great result for Swansea and played Valencia off the pitch. I expect the Swans to make the knockout stage at least. If they have another coc run then they could well be on there knees by the 7th December when we go. Wigan also had a cool start and Tottenham look well set to get the the Qtrs at least with the squad they have. 6 changes made last night. Cardiff could well be in for a thrashing on sunday though in the PL game.
Outstanding performance, having said that lets not forget that Valencia where playing for 80 mins with 10 men, the type of game Swansea play they will always create space against a team one man short, and in Michu they have one the most underrated forwards in Europe who will capitalise on the chances provided.
I suspect if the bigger clubs hsd rated him that highly then Swansea would hsve received an ogfer they couldn't refuse in the transfer window, is he in the Spanidh swuad regularly? For me he's as good as anyone they have. Hence my reference to being underrated
He would be if they didn't have such a world class team. Though he should be in ahead of Torres. He did get called up a couple of times last season though, but never played.
He's not better than the last two. Better than Torres though. Poor argument though to be fair, as he's not even a striker - he's an attacking midfielder, so really for Spain he would be fighting for a place against Mata, Silva, Cazorla, Navas, Fabregas and Iniesta. He has no chance.
He is underrated because no one knows him outside PL and a few spanish fans. He's one of those under the radar players. He is not flamboyant but does things with style.
Soldado and Negredo are better than Michu who is now better than Torres imo. But Michu will leave when Laudrup leaves.
