The Adidas stuff is typical Adidas stuff, that's not really different to other club shops, it's the crap we buy ourselves that really lets it down. PS - I don't think Adidas are Nazi's nowadays.
I meant I thought Adidas had stipluated so much space in the shop had to be given to their stuff, squeezing out non Adidas stuff.
Was in the shop before the Cardiff match, place was packed, picked half a dozen items to buy but put them back. Hate long queues, and it was doubled up to the back of the shop. Was better when went back in early week. So they must be doing something right, just need more staff on the tills and shirt name section.
As one of those objecting to the name change by not spending on anything other than entry to support the team, this could have been difficult. Fortunately, I think the shirt is awful, so I dodged a dilemma there.
Rather than just not spending, surely you'd make a better case buying out anything that's Hull City AFC and not touching anything Hull Tigers
I think the threat is not to buy once the name change gets adopted? If people bought this making it a best seller and do not buy anything next season with the new name on,that would tell the club what the majority think about their new name.
The Allams (or at least the old man) should take a leaf out of Everton's book and they've only changed the Clubs crest ffs. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-24157391
Perhaps Everton are not run as a 'business' and the fans should leave these things to Bill Kenwright. I know that several Far East investors are pulling out now as the 'common' old crest is being retained.
I personally don't have an issue with any updating of our crest - eg omitting the AFC from above the Tigers head or the word 'The' to 'The Tigers'. It has changed many times over our history. God knows what Evertonians would say if they were rebranded as Everton Toffees!!
the key words "Everton consulted more than 200,000 fans" Hull City have consulted how many? then "22,000 fans signed an online petition" I signed a petition against our name change. How many signatures have we got?
Why would I want to buy merchandise from a company that wants to get rid of Hull City afc because its too long, irrelevant, common and a lousy identity, just because it has our name on it?
Because we are still a football team called Hull City afc. When the name's changed to Hull Tigers (or whatever other name he chooses) it becomes a franchise and Assem Allam's business. I haven't called for a boycott but, personally, I'm not prepared to spend any more money than is necessary to watch my team.

Crap picture - probably more likely to be orange and light blue, based on the colours Needler wanted to change us to?
