I like to follow Leeds results, as a mate is a fan and we watch matches together. Roll on the cup match.

I hate villa for obvious reasons.

I also hate man city for the pure fact that their fans think they are a big club when they are just a bank rolled toy. Maybe jealous I don't know.

second team- Leeds- i came from an area where everybody supported them growing up (the O'Leary years) and after spending a few years laughing at their ****ty predicament i really just wana see them in the prem now. woulda probably supported them was my dad not from Newcastle.

most hated-Villa- that 6-1 in our first year back was brilliant.

Soft Spots for .. Brighton, S'hampton and Spurs (though the THFC soft spot is hanging on by a thread.. always thought NUFC and Spurs..similar type teams ..philosophically/style etc etc ..but since they replaced us as the ''possible contender/dark horse team in the division ..their supporters have gone a bit too.. up themselves and arse-holey )

Teams I cant stand .not that many, but special mention for ManU ..Chelsea (a deeply unpleasant and unlikable club pre-abromavichs ripped off billions ..now even more so) ..Villa

I like spurs. Hope they do well. Will always hate UTD, Arsenal, Chelsea. I'll pick and choose in what order from their recent activities.

Only team I pay to watch besides the toon is Whitley Bay.

I would like to see Leeds come back up. I applaud the idea of FC Wimbledon and can't wait to see a derby with Milton Keynes. I always keep an eye out for the results for Gateshead and Bishops Stortford.

Liverpool have begun to get up my nose lately

The Only, second team for me is Gateshead, still go occasionally.

As I've got older my disliking of other clubs has ebbed and flowed, but still no liking of any of them, and nor will there be.

The one constant is my dislike of MK Dons.

When about 10 years old I 'adopted' Ipswich Town as my 'second team'. I liked them because they had a Geordie manager, had some great young players (Wark, Talbot, Cooper, Mills, Mariner, Beattie, etc) and - most importantly - were punching well above their weight. The 1978 FA Cup win against Arsenal sealed my affection for the club because they beat Arsenal - the club my rival at school had chosen as his 'second team'. Childish, of course, and obviously my affection for them has dimmed over the years.
In the PL, the only clubs I have a likening for are Norwich (where I lived briefly, and would occasionally go to both Carrow and Portman Road) and West Brom.
Clubs I dislike: Everton (been there twice, spat on twice), Spurs (been spending huge money for 35 years; where does it all come from?), Man U (obviously), Aston Villa (goes way back, and enhanced recently), and Chelsea (I truly believe this club more than any other has damaged league football), and, finally, Stevenage, due to the fact it's possibly the most unpleasant town in the UK and for the way the club carried on before and after an FA Cup tie about 10 years ago.

All my family are Liverpool Fans, got a bit of a soft spot for them, especially after the 2005 champions league final.
Dislike....Man Utd, struggle to talk about football to any of them. Hopefully they'll turn ****e soon and they'll become a bit more bearable

I have family in North London, and I used to visit them regularly during the holidays. Arsenal had Henry at the time, and he was hard not to like. So to this day I'm still a big Arsenal fan. I've also always had a soft spot for Blackpool (partly because of Ian Holloway) - was great to see them in the PL a few years back. I don't mind Everton.

Teams I hate? I've gone through a spell of hating most teams I feel, but the constants are Sunderland (of course! But I never want to see them go down, just always finish 14th - 15th), Spurs, Man City, and Chelsea. I totally agree with LeazesParkProwler about Chelsea.

Living in the States these days, it's hard not to hate a lot of teams simply because of the noob fans here. I'm happy that the game is growing here. I love the push that channels like NBC, Fox, and to a lesser degree ESPN are making for the game, but it's making a whole bunch of 'Yankees fans' (for those of you who don't follow American baseball, they are a mega-rich team that wins everything all the time - and their fans are obnoxious). So it's really hard not to scoff at people when they say they like ManU/Chelsea/Citeh/Spurs/Liverpool. I keep hoping that in a few years they'll all have learned enough about football to change their allegiances. :)

You mean you only support The Toon.

Isn't that normal and the way it should be.

I actually sort of follow Liverpool because of my son's love of the team (we are in the US and they showed a lot of Liverpool games), but my "second" team is really any one who can keep Man U from winning the title. I have this intense loathing of that team and love to see them lose.

Use to do a bit of youth training with Crystal Palace when i was a kid, so I always keep an eye out for their results. AFC Wimbledon too (a bit of rivalry there but I'm Toon through and through so I share the love between them) as i went a few times last season with my best mate who is a massive fan, we were there when they stayed up and was one of the first on to the pitch so they have a special place in my heart. Also i run my own football team now so i suppose i kind of have to like them...

Second team - Colchester United (born there), but like others on here have mentioned, I also keep an eye on Norwich because of CH.

Ipswich are my closest team so watch for their results (although there's a bit of Norwich/Ipswich rivalry so don't tell anyone I watch out for both teams :emoticon-0105-wink:).

Teams I don't like: Just the one - Wigan. We might have Ashley .... but they have Whelan <yikes> <laugh>.
