    Full time 2-1 :(

Good changes from Powell, but we should question why we waited until we went 2-0 down before changing things.

Sounds like Steward will be a decent acquisition though.

Look forward to hearing from those who were there (if anyone on here was).

Wasnt there but I think we were waiting to make the subs when Huddersfield went and scored their second... I hate to say it but I think I read somewhere on 73 Charlton fans went

In that case maybe I was a bit harsh.

Did CP take off Sordell because he was injured?

If not, why play with one striker when we were losing?

Or did Harriott play up front?

We seem to be completely incapable of beating this team. Why?

Haven't heard a peep from the two Addicks I know who went tonight. The fact that I know two who went suggests more than 73 were there.

When Harriott and Stewart came on we switched to a 4-3-3 formation according to the guy doing the Twitter updates... When Pigott came on for Jacko thats when we switched to a 4-4-2 formation

    Thanks for that, A4L.

There were more switches than a branch of Wickes. <steam>

"Looked completely ineffective until the substitutions, which should have happened earlier. Sordell completely useless, no rapport with Church at all. Why is he playing and not Pigott? Harriott and Stewart both looked well up for it. Good battling finish but way too late. 250 or so here tonight, smallest away support I've seen in a while but with our record against 'Udders, who can blame people?"

Don't get too excited about Stewart, guys

A goal so early in his Charlton career sounds good but 2 goals in 79 games (and about the same number of assists) from a winger is pathetic. He's got no end product 99% of the time. Just runs into dead-ends like a pothead Pacman

Thanks, but we will go on evaluating people on the basis of a couple of games or 60 minutes in total as sub. It is what we do best here.

Took Sordell off because he is ****! There is a reason Bolton don't want him!

The Doctor took off a striker when we were chasing a goal, which tells me something about that striker's performance. There is no point now in keeping him here, we'll have to make do with 3 strikers. Surely if one gets injured we can bring Smith back from Wimbledon. Sordell might even be the new Francis Jeffers.

It's hard to judge Sordell when none of us saw him last night. I really don't see the point in writing someone off so early in to their (albeit short) CAFC career. Said the same about Stewart when he arrived - need to give players more time. Rhys Wiggins anyone?

The players really need to up their levels against similar suited sides. Hard to fathom why we can battle and compete with play off candidates, but come back down to earth against mid table opposition. Positive subs by Powell, and I think he got the line up correct - the players just need a kick up the backside.
