You know me so well tell me my views on how professional footballers think? Another offensive ****er comment from the biggest twat on the forum. See ya later knobhead. .
So are you saying that the best way for him to get in the first team is to play **** in the reserves as a protest to being selected?
You went off topic when you started taking the piss, That to me was conceding the debate (I wasn't arguing, glad to know you were worked up) Now you're trying to goad me like child. You're making a grade A tit of yourself. Your rubbing the whole board up the wrong way with your delusional, paranoid, conspiracy theories regarding Paolo's management style and team selection without offering an ounce of proof regarding your theories. You crack on fella. You're your own undoing. I'm not going to talk to you now, because there's nothing I can say or you can say that will make you look any more of an idiot then you already do. bye bye man child!
You may want to read that back to yourself chum and see what a plum you've just made of yourself....yet again. However I'd do it from behind the sofa as its a bit worrying.
Where did I say that? I said he didn't sign for us to be a reserve team player. He has done nothing wrong as far as I have seen of him and just cant understand how in a poor team that has lost all 3 of the games he hasn't been involved in, he cant get in ahead of the likes of Larsson or Vaughan.
Not slating the lad c'est just watching the match on LFC TV. I'm as puzzled as everybody else as to how you can be MotM against Fulham and then nothing. I agree summits not right
Never understood the Cabral love-in after the Fulham game. Thought he was OK but by no means anything special. Defensively worse than Catts imo, he just seemed to run into people and gave away a couple of needless free kicks in dodgy areas, and going forward he just seemed to have a pop whenever he saw the goal, despite having a grand total goal-scoring record throughout his career of 2, i.e. a player who can't score won't score going for worldy's regularly and wasting possession whenever we got in the attacking third. I didn't see the MK Dons but apparently he was poor, and the same again against the Liverpool U21s tonight. Sorry but "he wasn't trying because he's better than reserve team football" just doesn't cut the mustard for me. He should be doing his best to show the manager he deserves a spot in the first team. If he really has that self-importance about him then he can sling his hook imo. And as for people banging on about his CL experience. he only has that because the Swiss league only has one team in it - it's like saying we should go all-out to sign Georgios Samaras and play him ahead of Fletch and and Altidore because he has "CL experience".... nope. Let's not forget, the lad can't even get a look in to the mighty Swiss national team? Being kept out by such footballing greats as Gelson Fernandes... Now I'm not saying Cabral is terrible, but he was clearly signed as a squad player and has been used as such. He's useful to have no doubt, but unless he pulls his finger out and shows PDC he should be starting week-in week-out I really don't see why he should feel so entitled??
I could have got a game last Saturday they were that bad in the first half, so how can Cabral (a champions league player) not get into the team ?. Get Catts back, play Cabral and he should motivate himself as he knows he might get dropped, Start borini with Cabral, bring on Fletcher in the second half.
I'm not sure why Cabral is still a topic of discussion We've seen 4 games in which Cabral has played in, and some people reckon he's quality and should be starting. Di Canio obviously disagrees, but there are a couple of things that make his opinion far more valid: 1) Cabral has been with us since the start of pre-season, meaning Di Canio has seen far more of Cabral (in training, practice matches etc.) than we have (1 friendly, 1 prem game, a cup game vs a league 1 team and an U21's game), basically he'll know a lot about Cabral whereas our views are extremely limited 2) He's a football manager, he played the game professionally at a high level for several years. He knows a lot more about football than ANY of us. Di Canio has explained the situation so that should be the end of it.
So, if you're right and we haven't signed any midfielders to come in and relieve us of the abject mediocrity still playing there, who almost took us down last season, despite banging on all summer about the need for new midfield players? Maybe we should be pointing the finger at Roberto De Fanti and Valentino Angeloni for failing? Someone somewhere has to take responsibility for the ****e midfield we still have?
I agree completely our midfield is piss poor still and will hold us back massively this season, but we didn't see what went on behind the scenes. I have to assume the club were trying their hardest to get the right type of player but either the cash just wasn't there or the right kind of player wasn't available. If I didn't have faith they were at least trying I'd give up hope all together! I do think they were though, especially after what PDC said about going after James McCarthy. He is exactly the sort of player we need but we were quoted for £12m ffs! Crazy money for a player who hasn't really proved himself yet, and could well turn out to be the next Wickham....
Roberto De Fanti and Valentino Angeloni next in the firing line I see. Struth. Might want to tell Cest it's Ellis Short who owns the checkbook. This is something we know for sure. Not speculation that Di Fanti and Angeloni are to blame which surprise surprise is completely unfounded.
Agree, i've watched McCarthy on numerous occasions and was astounded by that price as imo he's decent but no finished article by a long shot. It always gets me how teams like Wigan and Spurs for that matter always seem to get top dollar yet we always seem to get mugged off when selling players?
Did most of your school reports end with must try harder? Let me add to that sentiment. Pathetic retort.
