I just worry sometimes that, especially for promoted teams, that names arent being thrown about and players being linked/signed even on pre-contract (a la swansea). Maybe I should just be greatful that 11 players havent headed out the door as per previous seasons
Get used to it is my advice. We might not sign anybody. I'd rather see that than see somebody coming in who wont improve the squad.
I agree with your last remark in principle, Wisescummer, but it's unsettling if we don't buy anyone. I'm sure everything's OK financially, but sometimes you just need a little proof. I suspect we are all panicking too early just because a few teams have bought early.
