CELUSTKA ENJOYING SUNDERLAND LIFE Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Tue, 09/17/2013 - 10:19 Sunderland defender Ondrej Celustka says he's enjoying life on Wearside. The on-loan Trabzonspor fullback has quickly become a fans' favourite at Sunderland. âI like to be here, even after training when I have my free time Iâm always thinking about football,â he told safc.com. âI will do my best to help us pass towards the middle of the table.â this lad could turn out to be a fantastic buy
Gelled is the key word atm for me, signs were good 2nd half sat, got a feeling we'll turn wba over on sat
Looks a cracking player and is only going to improve as he plays more and gets used to the pace of the league and the system we play.
I'm glad some of the new players have hit the ground running, this lad the most impressive, Ki looks like he can settle into our style quickly and I think Jozy looks the part. He just needs that goal (that's not disallowed) to get him going. Giacc i think needs a bit more time to adjust to the physicality and pace. But it's Celustka who's hit the ground running. The other new cbs need a bit of time for communication purposes.
The right back we've been longing for, he's got a cracking cross on him. I just wish Johnson would play him in on the overlap more. whisper it but Johnson/Celustka could be the new Johnston/Gray
When we have Fletcher and Altidore in the box we should be looking to get as many crosses in as possible. I don't mind Johnson coming in and having a dig if he sees an opening but at times he's looked reluctant to play Celuskta in. Hopefully in time there wavelengths will synch up.
When this team does click I can see us giving someone an absolute shoeing, it might be away from home as well because looking at our fixture list we only have one or two (well OK one but I don't want to tempt fate) home fixtures against opposittion who are susceptible to being steamrollered...
