[QUOTE The Den on a Tuesday night will be tough![/QUOTE] Did you mean to type quiet instead of tough?
LiE Reading v Brighton was on live out here and i saw nothing to be frightened about in either of them, i know its early days but to get a run going early on is vital, as we all know and have seen, we shall have a bad patch somewhere along the long hard season that is infront of us, just hope BMcD sees the tell tale sign of a player loosing form or tiredness creeping in and intervenes with his team selection. He certainly won me over and in him we must trust......................................MOT
Unlike in recent seasons, we now have genuine competition for places. Diouf can't get into the team, despite arguably being our most influential player, certainy in terms of making telling passes or having the ability to hold the ball up to kill of a game. Smith & Poleon don't currently start, but they offer different options from Varney and Hunt. Varney's probably safe for a while, but Hunt must be looking over his shoulder. We spent a million on Murphy, yet we've got Mowatt sitting on the bench or in the development squad. Mowatt will certainly get game time resulting in someon dropping out. Austin is the current star of the team in the influence and impact he's now having. But he must know that as his first role is as DM, Brown will be looking to come in if Austin's form drops off. It's still unclear to me whether Byram should play RB or RM. Either way, Peltier knows his place is under threat, as is whoever BMD plays at RM. In short, we may not go up this season. But we'll certainly be there or thereabouts come May. Whatever happens, I definitely fancy us to go up before May 2015. And when we do, we'll have a full crop of kids o which to build the foundations for the long march to top 4 and the CL. Keep the faith one and all. In BMD I trust. MOT!!!!!!!!!!!
Bloody hell Boggers. Youre glass aint half full anymore, it's bloody overflowing. You're going to need a bigger vessel I think
Trust me Eire, I have a very big glass & I look forward to the day it's less than half full. Saves me drinking soo much!!! But I really have a good feeling about the next two years. To say we've turned a corner is an understatement. There'll be hiccups along the way. We could even lose badly tomorrow. But even if we do, I feel the squad and the Manager would be more than capable of turning things round. Arguably the best side in the league could only beat us 1-0 and not look that great doing it despite being able to bring on two players who in all probability would walk into our team. As such, I feel I have the right to be so confident that we're on the up.
Brace yourselves. The wallies are now 3-1 up, and the legend Sir Steve of Morison has just scored. We will be awash with cockney ****s before long!
haha, complete with reminders that they are only 6 points behind us at this early stage of the season
