It's a big shame for him, talent may not be there but work ethic, attitude and positivity on team spirit is tere in abundance, deserves to be playing every week somewhere
Oh aye, I cant dislike him for his on-pitch approach. It's just I doubt anyone - including him and his mum - think he's Premier League quality.
I think he jarred his knee on purpose. Reckon he's the sort of ego who loves being part of the premier league experience enjoying #banter with the likes of Thudd and Davies. That's why he's reluctant to bog off and play football somewhere else. As it stands, he's a L1 striker costing HCAFC money for #jokes. Get him fit, get him gone. (the #'s were ironic by the way)

Ok, maybe that's a bit far fetched but he had the whole summer to find another club and was talking to a few (apparently). I just don't really like the kid. I know it wasn't his fault and I should let it go but I'm still smarting from buying him and Fryatt instead of Austin. He's a big ego who in my opinion thinks his banter makes him bigtime when in fact his limited talent makes him smalltime.
Agreed. I want to see lazy arse Fryatt out the door first. Orient is still very fresh in the mind. Maybe would have made the bench John. I suspect that Gedo and Sagbo will start up front against the Udders.
I agree he has limited ability and should be looking to leave if he wants to retain any real credibility as a footballer. His career will soon be over. I think he spent all summer partying and telling everyone he was Premier Lesgue, that I can imagine. But, he is apparently good to have around the changing room. Fryatt on the other hand I think is unfortunate. I was quite fortunate to spend a few afternoons with Matty and talk to him about his injury. I still think that as a striker he is the best finisher we have at the club and if he can get fully fit he would be a useful player. The issue there is how does he get fully fit when playing reserves football!
