wow that was a great game to watch for us neutrals

 

Great game lads I thought you looked good in the 1st half although 1-1 at ahlf time would have been fair but really pleased how we took it to you in the 2nd

 

Suarez to come back yet boys. Actually doing pretty well.

Why did we sell Shelvey? 3 assists and a goal in a single game!!! Priceless...



Admittedly it was 2 assists for his opposition as well as a goal and an assist for his team, so he's continuing the form he showed for us...

Shelvey sounds like he's going to cry!

Skrtel was a beast yet again, the competition is certainly doing him the world of good.

Not sure what I make of the Lucas and Gerrard partnership, good when on top but when under pressure it's useless.

Aspas seriously needs to improve his first touch.

Looked suspect down the right, weren't the Wisdom's best game and Henderson had to do a lot of donkey work as a result of that.

 

Harsh, yes he was flat footed for the first, but Gerrard should have been brave and not turned his back when Shelvey had his shot. Watch him, and if he stands there and tries to take one for the team, then he'd see the ball drop at his feet and he'd be able to clear.

The 2nd, he was marking his CF who ran into midfield, he followed him, yes it left a gap, but one of the midfield should have followed the midfield runner (Shelvey) which means Skrtel wouldn't have had to go across and Wisdom also.

He wasn;t spectacular, but certainly didn't have a nightmare.

One more game and Suarez is back which should help us kill off games in the first half.

Southampton at home. We should be winning that.

That would be 13 from 15 without him.

 

Anyone else not sure about Aspas? Too lightweight for me.

 

Im more than happy with a point, but very frustrated at how poor we were in the 2nd half, Absolutely dismal in the last 20mins or so. How we couldn't put together 3 passes is beyond me.

What bothered me the most was how the Swansea players showed more determination to win the match and not just a draw, while our players were ****ting themselves trying to contain them like it was Barcelona.

As soon as we won possession we hoof the ball forward, while allowing Swansea to Dominate Play. We clearly forgot who we were playing today.
No offence to swansea but if we are really aiming to be at the top end, we should be doing a lot better against sides like these.

 

Great game to watch and a goal fest like i predicted, Im happy with a draw and i bet you lot are pretty happy with your position in the table and Suarez to come back into the team soon too. good luck for the rest of the season

 

Looked good in pre-season, good movement and had a few tricks. Seems to be a bit like Borini at the moment though, needs a decent run in the first team and a couple of goals to settle him down.

 

Don't want to jump to conclusions, but Suarez he certainly ain't.

 

Will give him time. But he ducks out of headers. Michu was from the same league yet he bombs in for headers. He doesn't give a ****. Strong too.
