Did anything come of the confrontation between Elmo and Cardiffs left back in the second half on Saturday? Something was said and Koren had to calm him down. The fourth official got involved and Mackay had a word also. I assume it was some form of racist jibe made by their number 3. Needs looking into if it was.
He just accused Elmo of diving to get the free kick as did MM. So they were having a bit of a go at each other Simple as that?? God knows were you've got the racism claim from?
There is history between ELmo and TAylor as he was sent off in our last game for a challenge on ELmo, he definitely said something to ELmo after the challenge on Saturday and ended up in a slanging match with brucey.
I was under the impression that something more was said. I sit in the west stand behind the dug out and it seemed Elmo took more offense than he should have if it was about diving.
I agree with you Lewis hence the reason for the post. Players dive all the time and nothing is said. Elmo wouldn't have dived for a free kick in his own half. Mackay & the fourth official wouldn't have got involved over a diving spat. Mackay looked very apologetic about it all realising his player was out of order.
What the **** are you on about? You have no idea at all about what was said between the two players, but chose to jump in with both feet putting a "racist" slant on a footballing spat. Has anything been reported by the player, club, managers, 4th official, spectator or any ****er for that matter along those lines? We had Campbell, Maynard, Theophile, Caulker, Gestede and Odemwingie in the squad with Andy for your game, and none of them got an audition for The White Tide Man - FFS get a grip. You're posting a thread about something you know **** all about. (apologies for the language to the more sensitive on here like Bullshit)
It was the same player that got a sent off against us last season, and his second yellow was for pretty much the exact same foul on Elmo as the one on Saturday.
Just because he has black team mates, that doesn't mean he isn't racist, (John Terry). The fact is, a player wouldn't react the way Elmo did, if your LB had a dig at him about a dive. He wouldn't have had a word with the ref and your manager if he didn't think it was something over what should have been said.
Echo - because someone isnt white and he gets annoyed at something said then it mustve been racist or Islamaphobic? He mightve said "your mum sucks big fat cocks".
I'm not suggesting it is, only that it was something more than a little dig. You're saying it can't be a racist remark because he has black team-mates. I don't know what was said, very few do, even Elmo probably didn't hear him correctly.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-family-mistake--offered-ALCOHOL-apology.html Is it rife down there?
This happens to veggies / muslims in a store every single week. I dont quite know why this particular incident is such big news.
Perhaps because the abject spinelessness of the supermarket is more craven than usual? Perhaps the customer may choose a culture where halal is the norm rather than demanding it be catered for in an infidel culture where he is in the minority (newcomer). FIFO as they say.
Sadly that's the typical reaction to any fallout now. Two people argued and one of them was arabic so it must have been racism.
