Its obvious really. The only object that an attacker who is trying to score a goal has on his mind is to ensure that they foul the defender. All the defender wants to do is ensure that no pulling occurs and that they are able to ensure that the attacker has the safest passage towards the goal.

    Common sense really.

I can't believe his decisions, frankly. I've tried to be objective and they still don't make sense. Through SAFC rose-tinted specs they look criminal TBH...

I don't particularly mind him giving the free-kick - by that I mean I understand him giving the free-kick - but if you give the foul you HAVE to send him off - it was either 11 v 10 and 1-2, 11 v 11 and 2-2 or 11 v 12 and 1-2 - it ended up being 11 v 12 and 1-2 - no big surprise there then eh?

West Brom next - Liam Ridgewell diving again??

Pissed off! Its been like a lifetime of supporting Sunderland, all wrapped into a little ball that is the first 4 games of the season!

Played ok against Fulham, get slapped in the face by their only chance of the game!
Concede an agonising late equaliser against Soton!
Our captain self destructs and costs us the game against Palace!
Shocking referee decision costs us a potential point against Arsenal!

All we need against West Brom is the ball clearly crossing their goaline but it somehow getting ruled out! That would be the full house I think!

Of course we have been generally poor this season but with a little bit of luck we should have had a least a couple more points!

****ING TORTURE!!!! Nothing will ever change!

I've just had a look on the Arsenal board and some are even saying that the Arsenal players all stopped when they heard the whistle, so it wouldn't have been a goal anyway..They are coming across like a right bunch of Wengers..

Still think it has to go someway before it is even close to Osmans dive and subsequent yellow for Catts.

Me too mate. Can't be arsed arguing the toss with them. Everytime I've gone to another board, I've ended up having to defend Paolo. Sick to the back teeth of em.
