Yeah true. Should be interesting to see which style of play works better in la liga. Neymar and Messi vs Ronaldo and Bale....I just feel Barca's midfield is far superior, so I can see Barca having the advantage, but we'll see
It's understandable really. When faced with the depression of living in a hell hole like Merseyside many people turn to comfort eating.
HIAG. We're you in Liveroool yesterday? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2420682/Steven-Gerrard-threatened-crazed-fan-shocking-training-ground-bust-up.html
Setting aside 'Pool's result in their "FA Cup" against United, I think most neutrals would agree that 'Pool have flattered to deceive with their start to this season. Sure, it didn't stop most Mousers proclaiming that they were going to win the title this year, but we all expected that, as there is always the danger with Mousers that a couple of back-to-back wins and they are all going to be dancing on the streets of Merseyside, booking their tickets for the open-top bus parade. Even Lawro was beginning to make an embarrassment of himself again with his silly predictions, seemingly never having learnt the harsh lessons that have been dealt to him over the past four seasons. The first half-decent side they meet, and its "business as usual" for them. It'll be a couple more months before something of last season's humility returns to Mousers, because we've got to go through the delusions surrounding Goofy's return, with the expectations that he'll single-handedly lead them back to the glory days of the 70s (even though he has never shown any signs of doing that, since he joined the club). Few of us would be surprised if he left in January for Real. A great result for the Saints, though, it must be said. They were solid in defence, and took their time to earn their win. I fancy them to give 'Pool a good run for 8th spot, this season.
