Just reading that last year we sold out 99% of tickets available to home fans and away we did even better with 99.5% of all available away tickets sold out.

Don't have figures for other clubs but I find it hard to believe anyone did better.

Fantastic, but I reckon we could achieve something similar with a 60k stadium!

Our away support was superb last season. 5k away for Carling night games.

Sold out United away Bank Holiday night game in August, the previous year Spuds only took half their allocation and made excuses.

THis season, selling homes in hours (eg Cardiff) to socios only.

All Spud games on general sale: https://www.eticketing.co.uk/totten...medium=thfc-site-new&utm_campaign=buy-tickets, now Bale has gone.
Guess all those post2010 fans have gone back to watching United on Sky!!! <laugh>

Also West Ham taking full page ads in the Standard to sell out Prem games.

Talking of 60k stadiums, anyone got anything recent/decent to report on that matter?

I went to all but 3 aways last season... From what I recall... We took 2800 instead of 3000 to Swansea in the capital one cup 2nd leg when already 2-0 down. That was a wednesday night and the weather was atrocious. Took me 6 hours to get there.

United away in the FA cup we took 5000 instead of 6000. It was a bank holiday sunday with no trains running to Manchester or back. Plus it was Mothers day. And we only got the tickets one week before the game.

We took 2800 instead of 2900 to Sunderland.

We took 2800 instead of 3000 to United in the league. We had played 66 games before that covering Europe and Japan. Plus Amsterdam was around the corner.

Last one we didn't sell out was Middlesbrough away in the FA Cup. We took 2100 instead of our 2400 allocated for a Wednesday night game in Middlesbrough.

At home we sold out every league game and every FA cup/Capital one cup/Champions league but we didn't sell out all the europa league home games.

We have one of the best supports in england. And one of the best away supports for sure. Matched only by United, Liverpool, Leeds, Arsenal and at a stretch Newcastle.

Thanks Bucks, did we take thick end of 5k to leeds in the capital before xmas?

i couldnt get a ticket for that one.

    I would say away support:

    United
    Pool
    Arsenal
    Chelsea
    Leeds
    Spurs
    Newcastle

For Leeds away we were only allocated 3000 tickets. We wanted the full 5000 but the police wanted to give us only 1500!! So there was a comprimise at 3000 only if all trains to Leeds had no alcohol on them. That most if not all went on the club transport that was escorted all the way from London. That no alcohol was served in the ground. And that we would be kept behind for an hour after the match had finished inside Elland Road.

I've never seen that much police at a football match
