and we deserved to win today, we were absolutely brilliantly and deserved to win today but to say that against a team like man city shows how far we have come. Nobody will be ready for what we unleash on them. We will amaze most teams in the prem, this club is going places UTMPssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Agreed let us hope we go to the Emirates and STUFF that lot. TBH I would be happy with a draw and of course 'Let's all do the Wenger!'
Seems like some bitter Man City fan has rated this thread 1 star, hey ho onwards and upwards boys, happy days indeed!
Really pleased with how the team is doing, where would we be with an instinctive goal scorer. Lets hope we can give Wenger something to moan about.
My comments as I came from the game was "I am absolutely chuffed at that result" BUT!! That does not mean that we have suddenly become world beaters. Man City were under strength, and we need to improve before we can consider ourselves a top ten team. We still need to score goals and my mate Jon Walters and Peter Crouch are not doing the business. I`m afraid it`s time they were keeping the bench warm. (Taken from "The Sentinel") Goals are a problem for everyone- not just Stoke City STOKE City weren't alone in failing to hit the back of the net at the weekend. Mark Hughes saw his side do just about everything except score in the 0-0 stalemate against Manchester City. But goals have been hard to come by everywhere in the Premier League so far this term. Latest figures show that after four fixtures for most Premier League clubs, the average goals-per-game is just 1.9. That is way below the worst average ever recorded for an entire Premier League campaign... 2.45 in 2006/07. The highest average of 2.81 came two seasons ago in 2011/12, while last season is joint second and only a fraction behind on 2.80. by IHADTOLAUGH Monday, September 16 2013, 2:07PM . âI suppose to make things look better, people often look at bad performances from others to justify their own. We have scored 3 goals in 4 games which is an average of .75, well below the 1.75 so far for the new season. Last season our average was .92 very, very much below the league average !
they should put the stats up for completed passes, shots and chances for open play?, Stats can be viewed from very different angles but I see what youre saying
A very fair point Ricc Full. I am still chuffed with the draw and I am looking forward to Arsenal next Saturday. I feel one almighty shock could be on the cards as Mr Hughes shuffles his pack.
yep, im looking forward and enjoy watching every game now, feels great to be a stoke fan again utmpssssssss
I must admit i'm not dreading every away game now, I think how we are playing is a shock to everybody and that we will surprise a few teams this season, especially if the strike force starts to get more confidence.
