Interested in that last bit sky, all the tech reviews really rate the HTC One. What issues have you had with it that makes you hate it? Might steer clear if the detail sounds bad enough.

It might be to do with the network and the amount of company phones connected to it. But sometimes you don't receive messages until days after they were left, the phone itself tends to put people on block on it's own, therefore I'm forever having to unblock people! Text messages within the company aren't instant - sometimes up to an hour before the text comes through. All in all for the purpose our work uses it for it's shockingly bad - to the point where our company are about to get a whole new set of phones.

It maybe alright as a personal phone, but even the response to the touch screen is pretty bad to be honest.

I would certainly stay away myself, there are far better phones out there for the price.

Lol, so the "less MP, more light" sell was bollox pr then? weirdly the 5s seems to have followed suit. I wondered how that was going to work but I'm not a photographer type person (more point & shoot) so was relying on the tech dudes opinions.

Definitely made me rethink. Wouldn't make that many calls on it but text a fair bit, and you want a fairly decent camera on it if you're not a photographer with a specialised stand alone camera. And yeah you want a fairly responsive touch screen this many bloody generations into touch screen phones!!

Nexus 4 (The Google phones) are pretty good, got one myself, very pleased with it...
However, never having had a iPhone, I may get a 5s when me contract is up..

Yeah... but seems to have some strange bug where it removes all the clothes from the photo.

I have a Galaxy II Skyrocket. (Between the 2 and 3 in specs... was an upgraded 2 only released for AT&T)... not much else experience to compare with... I certainly have no complaints with this phone.

I ruled out Apple early on... not because of the phones but didn't want my money going to fund lawyers to pay for frivolous anti-competative lawsuits. A £1 given to Apple is a £1 given to lobby against free market competative industry and an attack against innovation.

Couldn't care less what apple put out... its a morality thing... couldn't give money to apple and sleep with myself at night.

Thats funny as ironically her phone is with the insurance company at the moment because the back camera is broken

True story right here... she was on a night out with her mates and she decided to take drunken pictures of her friends in their knickers in the toilets when she dropped her phone down the loo

and the pictures.... Well... she has dropbox on her phone so they are now on our home PC, Tablet, My work iPhone and our smart TV

I have a Galaxy S3 and I absolutely love it.
All my iTard mates are gobsmacked just how much better it is than their iPhones
I managed to convince the wife to ditch her company iPhone for an S4 and likewise, she is blown away by the features/speed & ease of use.

And you don;'t have iTunes clogging up your ****ing computer either - just drag & drop whatever you want

iTard [noun]: a person who is convinced that Apple products are better with no objectivity to back it up
