Sorry folks...Daily mail, style attention grabber. But i'd like to know how you felt when you read that ? How far are you willing to go in your protest ? It's a simple question, this. Will you attend "Hull Tigers" games ? You can't put it more concisely than that...
Why don't you do a poll like Lambos? Keeping it nice and impartial: a) Go and watch your Club even if they are called Hull Tigers b) Be a big Girlie-whirlie cnut moaning about a trivial name change and refuse to support the club Oh, and yes, I will go and support them when they are known as Hull Tigers.
Yes I will. I'm willing to back Mr Allam on this. He's been brilliant for the club. The next thing he needs to do is get a marketing budget to promote the club in Hull.
I'd still go, I support the team, not the people who run it - I'd buy my pass, but that's it. I wouldn't buy any of the new merchandise and I'd continue to sing "We're Hull City", in the hope that one day the Allams will write it off as a bad move and change it back. You can still show support for your team without showing support for the club's owners decisions.
It doesn't need to be a poll,it's just a simple question. I think it's more honest this way. I should have said, that i won't be going, although i expect you could tell that.
I support the eternal entity that is Hull City football club. Owners come and go. The location of the ground may change and has in my lifetime and there may well be a name change in the offing. There are many other examples of Allam fxxkwittery that I do not care for but none of this really matters to me. I may not agree with much of it but I do respect the right of the owners to take the business in the direction they choose. The only thing I expect from an owner is to keep the club solvent and viable. I have no doubt that the current owners will not let us down with this. I would not be unhappy to see a for sale sign at the circle and new owners in situ. Sometimes, "better the devil you know" does not apply. Assem Allam has threatened to take the club out of Hull (all hot air and bluster) so is a difficult man to like or respect. He won't live forever but the entity will. While we play in Hull and stay in Hull I will support them up and down the leagues, I've done the "hard miles" before and would again. Should the club ever leave Hull I wouldn't bother. There is more chance of a change of owner then the club moving out of Hull (imo) Assem Allam needs to realise that he is the owner (custodian) of a small football club, with a small fan base that play in a rented ground. He is a financial pygmy on the world football stage and should stop embarrassing himself and us with his grandiose fxxkwitted nonsense. We live in hope. Keep The Faith.
Some of you are still sat on that fence. You would still go,but at the same time, you would prefer we didn't change the name of your club. Another very concise question then... Would you be prepared to be at them gates tomorrow, 2.30pm ? Because you can still make statement, even if you decide to keep on going forever ?
I won't be standing outside the gates. It will achieve **** all, a waste of time and probably get wet for their trouble because it will probably rain. Dr. Allam is hardly going to think "well a handful of fans decided to miss kick off and arrive 5 minutes late, what a tragedy, I'd best not change the name in case, still spending their money*, they decide to leave 5 minutes late next time as well". *key point
I will continue to support the club that I know and love, that I've laughed and cried with for 46 years, no matter what the name is, will be or could be, AA has taken this club up a step financially, if his business plan is to bring in more revenue to spend on the club then so be it. I understand and respect peoples opinions but to turn your back on the club because we combine our city and nickname is to me cutting off your nose to spite your face.
I will attend come what may. I've seen the team (like many others on here) at their lowest ebb. For some years, I missed too many games because I lived away or other issues got in the way. Ultimately, I'm looking forward to seeing my home town club. I don't like the Hull Tigers thing at all, it doesn't make sense and I really hope the Allam's will move way from that one. However, in the end, it is still my team, our team HCAFC UTT!
Tomorrow is my 1 game for this season, unless I manage to squeeze 1 more in before I go back to work so highly unlikely, I'll still go no matter what they are called, I doubt I'd buy any merchandise, but I can't stop supporting the team. I could never go off & support someone else whilst the basis of the club is still in existence. If we went bust I'd probably follow another team but don't know who, Ferriby? A new Hull City if one tried to get through the leagues, Grimboys, Scunny, Scarborough? I'd probably just follow the PL from a distance & have no real interest in a particular team.
