90k a week No wonder he wasn't interested in signing a new contract. Liverpool should change their name to Silly Twats.
I can't imagine he was on more than £15k/week with us. Seems ridiculous as he'd have accepted £30/40k easily. We made ~£25million from him and Hendo, when we spent peanuts on Mig, and Hendo from the academy. Good business all round I say.
He was on less, im sure of it He was doing a degree in Political Sciences for a backup incase his career ever fell into jeopardy But im sure he was only on 5-10k a week (I say only 5-10k a week…id be happy with 10% of that)
Yeah he also speaks about 5 different languages I read somewhere. Intelligent guy and not half bad in goal.
Can't blame any player for going, if it was for the money or not. Thrown some money around the last few years have Pool. Given what they lost on Carrol, Downing etc. For what it's worth we paid £1.5m for Borrini (probably just to cover wages)
shocking amount for both, especially Henderson given that he wasn't a regular international/CL player etc etc. where are these figures from? do they have the equivalent for us?
