I dont know how you bold things on here? Read the last Paragraph lol.

Paolo Di Canio claims he could've landed one on Joey Barton before the QPR midfielder went through the back of him in Steve Harper's testimonial.
Barton warned that the Sunderland boss could get 'emptied out' ahead of the exhibition match – and did exactly that when he planted his boot on Di Canio's calf in the second half.
It was rewarded with one of the loudest cheers of the night from the 52,000 Newcastle supporters who booed their rival manager's every touch.

At the time the Italian merely shrugged and mimed wiping the back of his leg as if a drop of water had landed on it.
But afterwards he said: 'There was an occasion after five minutes that if I go straight I will damage, but I'm a manager, he's a footballer, I'm not stupid.
'He has to play football, it's not a challenge between me and him.
'I can understand because we know his character that he wants to be involved in situations. It's in his nature.

'It's not even wrong, sometimes he goes overboard in his football. It was a fun moment. We know him, he wants to be good in front of the people, in front of the fans.
'I thought I can't get involved with this. It's not the nature of the occasion.'
Di Canio revealed that regardless of all the stick the Geordie faithful gave him, they still asked him to sign replica shirts after the final whistle.
He added: 'It was possible because for them I represent, I am a Mackem that challenge them in their stadium.

Then at the end they came to me and asked if I could sign the shirt. It's a part of the game.'

Barton should have been kicked out of football for good, it is a pity he never played against Roy keane, or Razor ruddock !.

Snide piece of ****. What a ****ing horrible excuse for a human being. I honestly would hate his guts if he was a Sunderland player and never watch them while he wore our shirt. Newcastle fans, no matter who they are just cannot be attracted to this twat. He may be a decent footballer but an absolute low life of the highest order. I have never ever wished harm on a player but would applaud any player who broke his leg. (Preferably both legs and more)

There's that lost passion, dirty little ****

Remember a performance by the placid Gordon Armstrong who absolutely bossed and bullied another dirty get Alan smith in his early Leeds days

That video is class. These days Bennett would probably be banned for a season.

There more and more I hear from and about PDC, the more and more I like him. Even if things do go tits up as the rest of the world predict, it would have to go very wrong for me to dislike the bloke. Its admirable the way he is trying to actually sort out this club. Oh and he is a cool customer in shades.

At least he had the nuts to go there & perform for charity, he got stick from everyone, Barton went through him, but he picked himself up & got on with the game, even Shearer expressed his respect for him on Radio Newcastle last night, it's a shame Keegan was'nt there though!

The funny thing is Speed should not have been sent off !, but he was the equivalent of Savage and Barton in his day. And yes give Paolo great credit in what he is trying to do here I hope we can turn things around starting tomorrow, but the players have to get in the tight marking, and stop giving the ball away to have any chance, and maybe Cattermole should be brought in.

Cammiachio thanks for the video because I have just noticed in the play off 1st leg against Newcastle our penalty should have been re-taken because the Maggy number 4 was at least 1 yard in the box (2.57 in video) when the penalty was took !, how the hell did that happen ?. We were done even more by refs the following season though.

A lad on the General Premiership board said the same. How they've missed the studs to the knee I don't know. Gary had just come back from an injury to that knee too.

I like the way the Coward daren't leave the pitch at the same time as Benno. Scared of facing him in the tunnel no doubt. What a loser.

I remember playing for Branksome School against a Darlington XI and Speedie was throwing his weight around.
We were all about 6 stone wet thru !
