Got this from twitter, our lord and master answers some pertinent questions! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9DkcFAZhG80
Glad he didn't shy away from any of the more testing questions, of course he has to remain politically correct throughout but thats good to see.
Wonder how many "wy DUNT ya ge' ridda Hootun buh???" Type questions they had to filter through to get to the ones that mattered?
Yes, I wonder???? I trust both DM an CH to drive the club forward and I'm sure that if DM felt that we weren't improving, he'd be looking to make changes. I watched the clip earlier, but didn't have time to post it -particularly liked how he dealt with the ground expansion/movde to the showground/PL and GH issues.
I was also impressed by his honesty regarding "safe standing!" I had no idea he lost a friend at Hillsborough!
I like how he's particularly proud of the financial restructuring. Realistically, long term that is the biggest legacy of the club. Getting the debt sorted has opened up a whole new world to us.
Absolutely Beefy. You've only got to look at Portsmouth and Coventry to see what could have happened.
I noticed he mentioned PL and GH as "rightfully" in the Hall of Fame, I think he has more right than anyone to be entered!
I wouldn´t be at all surprised to find he ends up there Dave, he´s still been the best signing the club have ever made, thought he was very honest and very open in his replies. Was trying to imagine just how Doomcaster would have tackled a similar barrage, hardly think he would have covered himself in glory.
Indeed he does. As RBF said - he is without doubt THE best signing made by NCFC and had Doomcaster still been here, I feel that Lawro's prediction of us being in League 2 would have been proved correct!!!!
Top watch, he's right about the FA Youth cup too. Although not a major trophy, in the circumstances it was a massive result for us and it probably wont happen again. Also agree with the ground expansion, although it would be nice to have it all that matters at the moment is on the pitch and which league were in... Just take a look at wolves!
Absolute legend he deserves a statue outside of Carrow Road. His brought the club back from brink, people love to talk about Lambert, Smith and company in regards to our recent successes but this guy is the unsung hero in my opinion. Our club was close to administration we were losing money, operating costs were sky high we were failing as business. McNally has not only solved the impossible puzzle but his paid up the debts and left us with change. It made me laugh at the start of his tenure there was country yokels calling for his head because the pasties cost 50p more!
As he pointed out, ALL of our youth team are 'home grown' and not players costing huge sums of money from other countries. Didn't Wolves embark on a ground improvement programme in the season prior to being relegated??
Um...anyone else pick up that bombshell that DM dropped, "Johan Elmander...current International...on Galatasaray wages", followed by a definite grimace - 07:45 Anyone make a stab at what they are?
That would be around £27,000 a week, not our highest, probably not top 5. However I had heard that number thrown around as the loan fee not his wages, I wonder if we are paying all his wages.
