http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Bristo...spicion-rape/story-19789796-detail/story.html Elliott Harrison was arrested on suspicion of rape along with another man. A Bristol Rovers spokeswoman said: "We are aware of the allegations that have been made and as this is a current police investigation, we are unable to comment further." Harrison, from Newport, South Wales, joined the Pirates in 2011 and has made 20 appearances, scoring three goals. He made his first team debut in April that year in a 1â0 defeat away at Southampton, when he came on as a 75th-minute substitute for Jo Kuffour. This was the first time he had been in a first team matchday squad, having been included after impressing the manager during a reserve team game four days earlier. He continued his progress the following season, scoring regularly for the youth team and was handed his first professional contract last summer. Harrison made his first league start on January 12 this year in a 3-0 victory against Fleetwood Town, setting up a goal five minutes into the game. The 19-year-old scored his first goal for the club on January 26 as part of a 3-1 victory away to Rotherham United. In what has been his breakthrough year, Harrison was called up to the Wales under-21 squad versus Moldova on March 22, the same month he was arrested. That month, he played five matches for Rovers at the Memorial Stadium, the highlight being his two goals against Rochdale. Such has been his progress that he was offered, and signed, a new three-year deal in the summer. Excited at extending his stay with the club, he posted on his Facebook profile: "Buzzing to have signed a new 3 year deal at Bristol Rovers. It was the right decision for myself and family." Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman Catherine Foster said last night: "A 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of rape. "They have been bailed pending further enquiries. There are allegedly two female adult victims." Harrison has not been charged with any offence.
Wonder why none of them has been over here yet saying it was all mistaken identification by a City fan trying to make trouble for those saints on the blue side.
In the words of Alanis Morissette, Isn't It Ironic........**** me cor must be on suicide watch! Avon and Somerset police spokeswoman Catherine Foster said last night Harrison has not been charged with any offence, but he said it a statement " Me and me bro thought they were asking for it, we swear we didn't know they were with friends from the Tourettes Action group on a night out, please don't send me back to Newport"
a bit confused, what will cor do when or if this rovers star who was arrested on suspicion of rape plays for the rovers? cheer him, boo him or pretend nothing has happened?
Hey ******s - he was arrested in March for ****s sake! But then, only Teds would revel in a young lad being arrested (not charged) with rape. It takes a certain mindset....... Keep clutching at those straws princesses!
