Waghorn

I had very high hopes for this lad, and i was actually disapointed when he left us for 3m to finance the Gyan deal.
His career has gone severely pear shaped since he signed for Leicster permanantly after a successful loan spell. My mates a Millwall fan and theyve just signed him on loan. Hes been asking me for info about him.

 

I was aswell at the time but its looking like good business now

As far as your mates concerned he is a distant memory for me

 

Yeah me too mate. Hes still only 23, i hope he gets his career back on track!

 

We got 3m for him? Wow that's a cracking bit of business. If the new setup can throw out 5 of them a season we'll have a cushty extra income.

 

How many of us were gutted when 'waggy' was sold..!?!?

Think we all did mate. Both struggled to beef up innit. Wonder if that was the reason.

 

I thought selling Waghorn would be a mistake, but so far he has done nothing to prove me right..

Do they fall short because they aren't 'brought on' properly..
Or do they just start believing they've made it already ?.

 

I think he struggled with the managerial instability at Leicester. It seemed that one manager rated him, then the next one replaced him, and on and on it went

I hope he gets a run of games and regains what might have been. However, is milwall under lomas a stable environment?

 

One of those who looked great in the reserves but not anywhere else...like a less scrawny Ryan Noble...although he did fine at the beginning for Leicester.

£3m was a tremendous deal for us...
