Has Mr. Barmby been anywhere near the club since the controversies? Been to any games? Any events?

Not many people want to go back and work at a place where their employer previously hung them out to dry, particularly if they can afford not to.

He got the sack thats all. Did he play in Dawsons testimonial? Yet Shearer can go to Harpers.

He didn't play in Dawson's testimonial because he doesn't feel welcome at the club.

If you had a job, got sacked for a made up reason, were publicly lied about, then paid off to keep your gob shut, would you be keen on working there again?

    Not a ****ing chance.

Didnt need to be paid off though did he.

If shearer and a few others could look beyond their own personal circumstances with the owner theres no reason why Barmby couldnt.

If you were a millionaire, would you take a job you didn't need, working for someone you thought was an arsehole?

    Rhetorical question.

Would you go for your mates testimonial even if you think the people he worked for are arseholes?

Come off it, do you think Barmby didn't make a significant contribution to his mate's charity for his testimonial? Do you think playing that day would have put another 5,000 on the attendance? Do you think he didn't talk the subject over with Daws beforehand?

Stop making an issue out of nothing, nobody who matters would have blamed Nick for not turning out given what happened to him.

Personally, I would, though I don't actually know the precise reasons for Nick deciding not to do so.

It is an issue as i do think he would be ideal to head the youth set up. Barmby's pig headed, we've got an ex England international, a local boy sat twiddling his thumbs. It was pretty poor not to play in Daws' testimonial.
There needs to be a coming together from both sides.

There's pig headedness on both sides really. I suspect - though I'm only guessing - that Barmby thought it might draw some attention away from Daw's testimonial for all the wrong reasons if he played. He's done plenty to help Daws otherwise. It might have been a nice gesture from the Allam's to make it clear he would have been welcome at the KC? Perhaps they did...who knows...OLM? I think it is crazy he's not involved at the club in some way.

    I can well believe this.

I know of a lad in one of the youth teams who's club trackie didn't fit, so he had to buy his own.

Polo shirts they were given for tournament in Holland had to be given back when they hot home.

    No more complimentary tickets.

Remember they are running a business, not a football club.

Good. Stop this sense of entitlement and feeling that they've already made it. When they clearly havent. Its a job really knuckle down and take some responsibility.
