This game is our real, first proper game where we can see what we're made off. Chelsea, Norwich with 10 men & Man City with a point to prove were all games where it was very difficult to see how good we are. Now we play a team very much like ourselves. Obviously they've spent more than us but they're still essentially a championship team with a few quality additions. im going for a very open game with hopefully a few goals... just think that Cardiff will score more than us.. 1-2 Davies goal from a corner.
To be fair, I was writing it as a response to something of a similar vein whereas Proud just states it out of the blue...
Brady is better than Whittingham. Almost equal ability with their feet, Brady is far faster, stronger and full of tricks. And he looks well hard. Whittingham's a pussy.
My granny is far faster than Whitts, and she's been dead for 30 years. I've no firm opinion about Brady not having enough knowledge, but as far as skill levels and game control are concerned, Whitts has that aplenty. No dick waving contest here guys. Someone said that your guys were better, I'm just saying "club bias rules".
I'd like to think we'll score a goal, but we've only managed one in 3 games and it wasn't from open play; that said, the lads will be desperate to open their accounts so they'll work hard for it. Fraizer Campbell will blatently start and score for them, so I'll go for 2-1 to us, with Graham and Brady scoring.

Not unless you have a Yaya Toure in your team and the last time i looked you did not. Nevermind like. Man Citys defence was shocking that day. They missed Kompany big time hence why FC was allowed to score 2 easy goals. Actually all 3 were down to dire Man City defending. You took advantage of them We did not. Not really. Just that Hull City have improved alot more during the window and Cardiif appear to be without David Marshall(gk) and Steven Caulker(cb) who have returned from international duty injured. The match ref is Robert Madley with the 4th official being Phil Dowd. 2 Linesman are S Burt and M McDonough.
As for having a Yaya Toure in our side, we don't, but had enough to stick 3 past man City and 3 points that day - you got **** all past them and **** all points "nevermind like". ....and by the way, Kompany didn't play against you either, you can't have it both ways. I expect both Marshy and Caulker to both play.
I'm normally a beacon of expectation and unbridled optimism. However, this game, I think we'll lose it by 2 or 3.
Don't know is the honest answer - and I expect you're going to say Brady got about 109. In fact, Whitts was worse than useless after the turn of the New Year - it's the poorest I've seen him play this past 5 years since he's been at the club. Thank God we had Kimbo to come in and take his spot fro the last dozen games or so. Having said that, Whitts is pure class on the ball. Admittedly, he has no speed over the ground at all, but has very quick feet and a brain to go with them. His reading of the game is exceptional. He can pick a pass, slow the game down, and score some remarkable goals from distance. His deadball deliveries are very difficult to deal with. All this is when he's on song and sadly he went completely off the boil for 3 months last season. If he gets into his rhythm again (and there are signs he is), he will be very influential for us. The current setup that Malky is deploying is forcing him more out wide left (not his best position) with Bellamy on the right, leaving Medel, Gunnarsson and Kimbo through the middle with Campbell up front on his own. I suspect he'll stick with that for the moment rather than bringing Whitts to a more central role which he prefers.
