    Does he ****e

157 games in 20 years, canny few of them off the bench, unambitous git!

Seems a canny fella mind but less than 8 games a season over 20 years is disgusting imho

Why? They get 20,000 tonight say at an average ticket price of £7.50 = £150k

He could have just donated it himself from the fortunes he has amassed from being an unambitious bench warming git

Of course i would, lets say he's averaged £10k pw over 20 years thats £14,000,000 for not doing alot, wouldnt call him a servant to the club, more of a sponger

I doubt any of the 20,000 are there to see him mate

    Lol, good one.
I think the blokes showed a complete lack of ambition throughout his whole career. Id be abit embarrased tonight if i was him.

Testimonials were originally given for loyal service, and to give players a chance of earning a few quid to start a business after their football careers were coming to an end..They are now no longer relevant for Premiership players who earn enough money in their short careers to last a life time..

Is he not giving the money to charity? I am sure I heard him say that the money was going to 3 different charities.

On the news tonight said 47 thousand crowd was expected and PDC is playing and was likely to be the pantomime villain :)

Yes that was my point, why take the money from joe public when you have made a fortune from the game yourself, make a donation from his coffers if he really wanted to give something back
