Hamilton cost himself the 2007 title, maybe he should have been more careful entering the pitlane in China?
Here Domenicali says they want Bianchi to do "two good seasons" before going to Ferrari, so maybe the one year Raikkonen deal was because of Bianchi.
It's unlikely we wont see a Vettel-Bianchi lineup in 2-3 years time. Luca was saying the tifosi shouldn't boo Vettel he really wants him!
who cares, he won a race for Mercedes inside 3 years Shows he is clearly a better driver than Schuey ever was so is clearly the GOAT. FACT! Now who predicted that he wouldn't..............? Now, let's set the bait and reel them in.........
You know the draft calendar with 21 races? Well, New Jersey are adamant they can still make their race for 2014, which would make it 22... but the engine manufacturers don't think it's such a good idea. Since each driver has only 5 engines to last them the entire season next year, more than 20 races is going to be a struggle. Either the FIA will give the teams more engines or there is the distinct possibility that New Jersey will pull out along with Korea, who are expected to not be keen on taking up an early-season slot so soon after this year's race, giving us 20 races anyway. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/109802
Massa's definitely out. Now Hulkenburg has been told by Ferrari he won't be driving there next year, according to Autosprint. Now hurry up Luca, we are all waiting!
I notice Mclaren dont seem to be rushing on their line up, although it would appear that it was always pretty nailed on to be the existing drivers. Cant help but think they were/are waiting for the merry go round to start before making a final decission - or do they have a driver that is waiting before he commits?
I'm fairly sure Ferrari will announce today. I'm glad they had the sense to allow Massa to announce is own end so fair play to them for that
Now, having Alonso and Kimi in the same team will be great viewing I hope, but it does seem very short sighted by Ferrari. They need to be looking to future talent and securing a potential champion to partner Alonso until he's ready to call it quits. If Ferrari are waiting on Vettel, they could miss his successor while twiddling their thumbs.
Kimi has been rumoured to have only signed a 1 year deal + 1 option, so it's very likely Ferrari are still trying to get Seb on their side and the fact Stefano and Luca keep brown nosing him.
It will be interesting to see if Massa goes to another team how he performs there, it could be that Ferrari's design ethos has been to design a car to Alonso's strengths which Massa finds hard to deal with (Alonso likes a bit of understeer), he's certainly improved over the last season or so, but being forced to sacrifice himself for Alonso hasn't done his results any favours.
And if Vettel decides to stay at RBR, that leaves Ferrari with egg on their face. Too many ifs and buts.
