Vitesse = Chelsea colony in The Netherlands.

Vitesse currently have Gael Kakuta, Van Aanholt, Lucas Piazon, Cuevas, Hutchinson and Atsu on loan from Chelsea.

Five PSG players Sakho could encourage to join Liverpool

Sakho looks as though he could definitely become one of Liverpool’s great defenders and there are several PSG stars Liverpool could take a look at, where he’d be vital in their arrivals.

    Adrien Rabiot

Rabiot is an 18-year-old midfielder who has found first team opportunities hard to come by with just six first team appearances so far with the French giants.

His potential as a box-to-box midfielder is something that Liverpool should be very interested in although reports last week suggested that Tottenham Hotspur were already planning to scout him extensively this season.

    Jeremy Menez

Menez is a player that Liverpool were linked with last winter before Daniel Sturridge eventually arrived from Chelsea. Menez is an attacking winger who occasionally plays up front so his versatility would be extremely useful for Rodgers.

He has a reputation for being slightly hot headed in French football so Liverpool could use Sakho as a go between to let the 26-year-old know exactly the sort of discipline the club would expect.

    Blaise Matuidi

Matuidi is a 26-year-old central midfielder who plays primarily in a holding role for PSG. He could be of interest to Liverpool because he’d provide back up to Lucas in that position, possibly allowing the Brazilian to move further forward and closer to the attack.

He has 14 caps for France at senior level as well as representing his country at three levels of youth team football. His contract expires next summer which means Liverpool can put themselves in a good position, aided by Sakho, to offer him a contract quickly.

    Antoine Conte

The 19-year-old defender has already played for France at three different levels of international football. He’s one of PSG’s brightest prospects from their youth system which should make him easier to sign than if he was a first team regular.

He’s made just one appearance for the club and Liverpool could stress the obvious chance he’ll get to play in their first team, as Rodgers isn’t afraid to throw younger players in at the deep end if they work hard for their chance.

    Kalifa Traore

Traore is a versatile defender who Sakho could encourage to join the Reds for nothing at the end of the season. He hasn’t made an appearance for the PSG first team and there are no signs the French side will be looking to renew his current deal past next summer.

His ability to play in the middle or on the right side of defence is certainly something that the club should be interested in.

Real Mad supposedly going to bid £42mill for Suarez in Jan.

This is Real though... so hopefully can get more if we're smart.

Well spent... that could buy us two great players that dont have rabies.

I'd be much happier selling him to Real Mad than Arse.

Also assuming we get more than £42.

Suarez has been a real arse of late hasn't he! <grr>

I will say though, it will be interesting if we are still in the top 4 come January. Being so close could add some funds in the wallet, could persuade Suarez to stay until the summer, etc. Would be interesting.

£42m on Jan 1st (depending on league position) would be very tempting - any offer after Jan 7th should be rejected imo

If he plays well and refrains from thinking up a new and amusing way of assaulting people I'd rather he stuck around.

Very good, that's evident for when plays for Arsenal.
