Again, no-one stood out. Best Driver: Alonso Worst Driver: Chilton Best Rookie (Gutierrez, Bottas, Van Der Garde , Bianchi, Chilton): Best Team: Red Bull by miles, they could have lapped everyone if they wanted. Special Mention to: Grosjean he didn't try to kill somebody this time! Race Rating: 6/10 Qualifying was a 10/10 race was dull though my first Seb win Best Commentator/Presenter (BBC vs SKY): BBC
Yes that's the one! I was trying to remember an overtake that stood out the most at the time! It was this one! even with the knackered brakes.
Best Driver: Vettel, did as much as he needed to do, as usual Worst Driver: Maldonado Best Rookie (Gutierrez, Bottas, Van Der Garde , Bianchi, Chilton): Best Team: RBR Worst Team: Williams Best Overtake: Funniest-moment: Most Surprising Result: Chilton in Q2 Least Surprising Result: Chilton, normal service resumed Special Mention to: Hamilton and Alonso Race Rating: 7/10
Best Driver: Alonso / Vettel. Both! (please!?). Worst Driver: Maldonado; no contest. I'm tempted to start calling him Moronaldo… Best Rookie: Van Der Garde. Best Team: Red Bull. Worst Team: Toro Rosso had a disappointing race. I wasn't impressed by Williams in qualifying (or one of their drivers during the race). [Actually, I'll edit this to include Williams as joint equal!] Best Overtake: Two: both on Lap 18, I think. Räikkönen > Di Resta was a great move but also Sutil's double ≥ on Perez and di Resta. Funniest-moment: Gotta go with Silver on this one too: Greenpeace. Most Surprising Result: Tail-end charlies qualifying so well. Least Surprising Result: Alonso's progress to 2nd place. Special Mention to: David Coulthard and one of the girls on the podium: both were unceremoniously showered with over-exuberance. Race Rating: 6.98/10. I enjoyed it. Some cracking moves as well as a particularly poor one I'd predicted to a friend before it happened. On seeing Maldonado in that tightly packed bunch of five, it seemed almost inevitable as they approached the chicane, that five cars wouldn't be leaving it. What I didn't predict though, was just HOW he would do it! To liken it to a novice's error is truly an insult to any novice who pays attention during pre-briefing. It was a disgraceful error and probably would have had him removed from a track-day, even if he'd got away with his determined effort to pit. And bearing that in mind, since he'd intended to pit on that lap all along, why on earth didn't he just chill for a moment? Crazy… Something needs to be done about these Super-licences. Right now, they have as much street cred as a Learner driver's Provisional… Best Commentator/Presenter: I shouldn't comment on this, other than to repeat my bias against the conceited bloke at Sky who likes the sound of his own voice too much. Still, at least Brundle's not having to put up with Legard these days….
Best Driver: Sebastian Vettel. Another Prost-like drive from him. Worst Driver: Pastor Maldonadoh Best Rookie (Gutierrez, Bottas, Van Der Garde , Bianchi, Chilton): van der garde Best Team: Marussia, both drivers into Q2 for the first time. Worst Team: Toro Ross. Cocked qualy up for their drivers, Ricciardo did a fine job to get 10th Best Overtake: Kimi overtaking Di Resta in a car that wouldn't stop properly Funniest-moment: NA Most Surprising Result: Ricciardo 10th from an awful starting place Least Surprising Result: Alonso on the podium despite bad qualifying Special Mention to: Ricciardo, Bianchi, Chilton, Button Race Rating: /10
Best Driver: Sebastian Vettel Worst Driver: Pastor Maldonado Best Rookie (Gutierrez, Bottas, Van Der Garde , Bianchi, Chilton): Giedo van der Garde Best Team: Red Bull Worst Team: Williams Best Overtake: Gutierrez on Crashtor Funniest-moment: Vettel & Hamilton on DC Most Surprising Result: Kimi retiring Least Surprising Result: Fernando on the podium Special Mention to: Jenson Button, Giedo van der Garde Race Rating: 8/10
Best Driver: Vettel and Alonso I thought both drove really well. Worst Driver: Maldonado - gotta agree with a few of the other guys on here. Pretty terrible. Can't say I'm a huge fan of him. Best Rookie (Gutierrez, Bottas, Van Der Garde , Bianchi, Chilton) Best Team: Red Bull Worst Team: Williams Best Overtake: Kimi on Di Resta was a great move. Funniest-moment: Nothing really during the race, but after the fact I'd have to say Greenpeace. Most Surprising Result: Kimi retiring. Guess it was bound to happen eventually. Least Surprising Result: Alonso getting on the podium despite poor qualifying. Special Mention to: Button, Ricciardo, Race Rating: 6/10

Best Driver: Vettel. Worst Driver: Maldonado Best Rookie: VDG Best Team: Red Bull. Worst Team: Williams & Marussia Best Overtake: Räikkönen on Perez Funniest-moment: PDR nearly getting pole and then being hit by Maldanado who thought it was everybody elses fault but his? Most Surprising Result: Marussia and Caterham making Q2 Least Surprising Result: Alonso on the podium. Special Mention to: Button & Riccardo Race Rating: 6/10. Stolen from Cosi but spot on IMO. I enjoyed it. Some cracking moves as well as a particularly poor one I'd predicted to a friend before it happened. On seeing Maldonado in that tightly packed bunch of five, it seemed almost inevitable as they approached the chicane, that five cars wouldn't be leaving it.
