If they were in normal cloths with no football, you would wonder what was going on between them.

Obviously Robbie Savage does not know anything about football because he said we should have won against Manchester City lol

Good article by Rod Liddle on Alan Hansen in today's Sunday Times along the lines of "You won't miss him till he's gone"

If this was true, talkSPORT wouldn't have quickly replaced him with Andy Gray for Champions League punditry/commentary.

Robbie Savage is a good acid test for how well people judge pundits as he is actually good now whereas before he was a complete bell-end spouting gibberish. i think the likes of Gary Neville have forced TV companies to assess their pundits and not let them have life-long sinecures like the likes of Lawro. Lawrenson was a disgrace towards the end, a completely complacent annoying idiot. It's good that the BBC has made so many changes, I actually found Hansen to be a little bit out of touch but they got rid of the worst one anyway (Lawrenson) and now only Shearer is hanging on by his fingertips.

But considering Sky Sports are affiliated with talkSPORT, putting Gray back on UCL commentary, as he was when on TV, doesn't really surprise me.

The best pundit is Gary Neville. Considering the man was an utter **** while playing, he's quite a good pundit and I enjoy listening to him, especially over that twat Redknapp.

At the end of the day, they are just opinions, just like yours. It is sometimes comical that folk seek to endorse an opinion that matches their own; or, at least, that's how it seems.

I've yet to hear Savage make any kind of astute observation or insightful analysis on the games on MOTD. I'm talking about right up to last week.....

I used to hear him in the radio arguing with dorks from Hereford United or Walsall......and losing.

I got the impression he was a bit of visual totty for the ladies or a kind of reality tv spin off novelty pundit.

Yet to meet anyone who takes his opinions seriously.

Lawrenson, as a player, has the medals and the T shirt. Those players' views will always command respect.

Keep Chris Waddle away from any form of broadcasting, he's as bad at it as he was at crossing a ball for England! The utter waste of space!

I'd have Savage on MOTD every week, talks sense and says it how it is. Unlike most who don't have the bottle too, like on deadline day after all the business had been done he got asked what he thought of that years deadline day and he just said "I think it's been boring to be honest"
