I played against Kosowski once. He was having a kickabout for FC Poland against my sunday team. Nice guy and he had some impressive skills!
Robbie slater-great drive and purpose. Neil Heaney-very pacey Neil shipperley and Gordon Watson -worked tirelessly for the team
Paul Williams - brought in to replace Deano when he left for Spurs. Did a great job at centre half alongside Claus until the arrival of Killer. Had the pleasure of meeting him in a local Tesco as well, he came across really well and seemed pretty grounded. Now of course back at Saints as youth development coach.
Plays for Bradford City. Won promotion to League 1 with them last season and bagged 4 goals along the way. Also played the second half of the Capital One Cup final against Swansea.
Always had a liking for Lee Holmes. Had it not been for injuries, he'd have been a fine player for us.
Yeah I agree. Had a lot of potential but desperately unlucky with injury. If he could have stayed injury free, who knows how far he could have gone. I remember when we signed him, Jan Poortvliet described him as the next Arjen Robben! Still struggles with injury but managed 28 appearances for Preston last season which is a career highest number in a single season for him.
Hopefully he'll overcome it and possibly turn into a very good Championship player. Certainly got that potential.
I had the pleasure of playing with "Pucks" at the end of his career, at Newport IOW. It was a little weird to be playing alongside someone I used to stand on the terraces and watch.
