No Dave, I ain't using the WBA game as a matchstick to beating you. Open your eyes, read the comment correctly, and you will clearly see that I have said that we will beat you if we are at OUR BEST
But... we will beat you if we're at OUR best. Too early for anyone to be at their best yet. Can only go on recent form and realistic expectations in improvement.
Or maybe you've already peaked Would be great if both teams were able to play at their best, would be a cracking match. I actually think, for all the footballing ability in both sides, we could easily cancel each other out. You will also have more players playing internationals over the coming days, so until all players return to their respective clubs, its to early to predict a winner
No one can predict the result of any Premiership game. Lawro can never be sure too. A draw probably a safe bet.
I consider myself quite pragmatic & would´ve (& still would) take a draw from the Man Utd game at Anfield if asked before. If you offered me a draw vs Swansea I would rather take my chances. They do seem quite different since they won that cup, they seem more expectant & not working as hard as last season. WE saw against Utd they gave up after they conceded a couple. I think we should go for it, come fast out the blocks, get an early goal & sit back breaking on the counter. Brendan´s tactics are getting more & more impressive as he grows in the job. We are 2 points clear at the top so even if we lose we will still be well placed, might as well go **** or bust rather than keeping it tight & trying to knick one. The more I look at the fixtures running up to Xmas & that of our rivals for Europe, the more I think we can stay with them this time & really stay in the mix ! it is going to be an exciting season & where ever we end up, at least it will be enjoyable watching the football !
Jonjo Shelvey to play against Liverpool. A win for Liverpool is going make it the best start since 1990/19901. Good luck.
Proper buzzin for the game! Think it's quite funny how everyone is trying to predict the line up - there so many variations and options we can play!
No , the manger has been quoted that the league is more important so with that in mind tonight's team will be our strongest and after watching Real Betis v Valencia more so , a draw or worst a small loss won't be the end of our Europe adventure imo
