Jesus, some of these footballers (Very good player though) ------------ Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he was 'willing to die' for Jose Mourinho but described Pep Guardiola as a 'spineless coward'. Ibrahimovic played under Mourinho at Inter Milan and says the Portuguese was an inspirational coach due to his man-management style and tactical nous. "Mourinho would become a guy I was basically willing to die for," he wrote in his autobiography I am Zlatan Ibrahimovic, excerpts of which have been reported in the Daily Mail. "He works twice as hard as all the rest. Lives and breathes football 24/7. I've never met a manager with that kind of knowledge about the opposing sides. It was everything, right down to the third-choice goalkeeper's shoe size. "It was a while before I met him. He's elegant, he's confident, but I was surprised. "Mourinho created personal ties with the players with his text messages and his knowledge of our situations with wives and children, and he didn't shout. He built us up before matches. It was like theatre, a psychological game." Ibrahimovic went on to make a big-money move to Barcelona in 2009 but spent just a year at Camp Nou and he blames Guardiola for his troubles. The player always was a complete prat. Even if you believe it to be the truth you don't go about calling people names whilst you and they work in the same industry.

There's a difference between being a character - a moody genius if you want - and calling a former manager a coward just makes you look like you have no class. It makes it worse when the target is one of the most respected managers in the world. I'm not doubting his veracity but it would have been better to have waited to make those comments when both of them had retired.
Literally just read this off the Daily Mail site. Basically, he loves Mourinho because Mourinho would blow smoke up his ar*e, and he hates Guardiola because he wants his players to remain grounded and not to act like superstars. He has such a poor attitude hence why he has moved to so many clubs in his career, but his talent alone has allowed him to remain at the top of his profession and win league titles in pretty much every year for the past decade.
So what - making comments like this just reveal him to be a failure as a human being - wonder where I've heard that before

He's good for a laugh though eh Of course you'd be mad to argue against Guardiolas record but you've probably got some right to comment when you have a record like Ibrahimovich has....plus he's hard as nails so ****ed if I'm telling him to keep his gob shut
