as much as UTD lacked some sharpness in past 2 matches, but i feel we can edge Chelsea and city more with the addition of Fellaini, bcz I doubt City manager survive this season, his approach of football is not a fit to PL, chelsea meanwhile play like sh!t and park the bus but i think they may get enough points to challenge us to the title
Injuries will be our undoing this season. Fellaini has considerably strengthened our chances but my money is on Chelsea. Mourinho sets out to keep a clean sheet and that's how league titles are won. Our defence is strong too but Rio and Vidic combination doesn't seem to work anymore. Evans and Vidic need to start when fit. City, though strong in all departments, seem to have the same problem like last year, too narrow and even too slow in attack.
I am not so sure. He is as always the pragmatist, refuses to change his belief that the result is the only important thing. However, he will encounter some resistance because teams will know how he operates and deal with his system. Although they are favourites, I do not see them winning the title.
Obviously it'll be hard for them to win this time because they don't have a squad as strong as the one from Mourinho's laat spell at Chelsea. Our team them just did not have enough quality then to compete with them.
right, could someone tell me how Chelsea have '' improved '' their squad because i can't, they need a striker , they failed with their bids for Rooney, got Eto'o and let Lukaku go on loan to Everton.
That's just bollocks. Just ask the scousers - Rafa Benitez set out to keep a clean sheet, and managed it with Reina winning the all important golden glove all those times. Still did **** all for their league title chances. Mourinho sets his team out to score one more goal than the opposition. That's how he succeeded at Chelsea last time, tho' that strategy only works well when you have a team that is strong enough to steamroller all the weaker sides. Chelsea don't seem to have that this time, just like Real didn't have it in Spain, so it remains to be seen how Mourinho will adapt.
Chav FC are no better this year than last year, they will struggle in Europe this time, Jose cant manage the big players, he cant pull in the big name players, as they want to play for bigger clubs, Roo did not want to play for a team thats going to go backwards in a few years time as Roman will not keep bankrolling them due to FFP.
Naughty naughty. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-on-Mesut-Ozil-transfer-from-Real-Madrid.html http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-coach-Mark-Arber-bet-arrival-Mesut-Ozil.html
City were ****e and boring. Arsenal had a fortuitous win, all that Ozil did was undone by their defenders only for the ref to rescue them. Spurs look decent but still need their strikers to show some form. Looking forward to both Chelsea and Pool losing now.
