Article says that Turkish FA are resigned to the fact that Hiddink is coming to Chelsea. What do people think about this? I thought Abramhovic was obsessed with winning the CL, so why not hire another manager that has? Or does he recognise he's a good manager, and maybe with a bit of stability, you may get back to where he wants you

I'm sure that Hiddink is the man for the job. He was liked by all Chelsea fans and he won the FA cup in the small amount of time he had with us. The players seemed to enjoy playing for him so for me this would be the right decision

I believe he won the old european cup with PSV didn't he??

He's a very very good manager in my view, probably only a handfull of managers out there who have achieved more and we're not going to get the likes of fergie are we?

Personally though, I would have been tempted with a younger more hungry manager with pedigree like when we got Jose. The obvious one would be villa-boas or pep but they dont seem attainable at the moment.

It looks like both Guardiola and Villas-Boas are sticking with their current clubs and you can´t blame either coach for doing that when you consider that Porto and Barca have won everything this season.

With Guardiola and Villas-Boas seemingly out of bounds I can understand why we´re being linked with Hughes. He seems like the next best thing if we want a younger, hungry manager.

For me Hiddink is a bit too old for the job now but I´d be very happy to see him appointed as Director.
